Really great in every aspect but the binding.
I bought this journal to use as a bullet journal, and have been from mid March until now (end of August), about five months.Pros:- Typical dot grid paper (40 squares high with approx. 1 square width margin top and bottom, and 27 squares across, very minimal side margin)- Good quality paper. Almost none of my pens or markers have bled through to the other side. I use primarily crayola supertips and zebra mildliners for color, and Sakura and Tombow pens for lines and calligraphy. It holds up relatively well to large swaths of color without wrinkling or degrading.- Really nice leather cover. Soft and smooth, and the embossed animal is very cute.Cons:- Paper is notably off white, to the point where colors show up differently than you may expect. Definitely swatch ALL colors you intend to use so you aren't surprised.- The pen loop fell off EARLY - maybe one month in.- And the big one...My book's binding has split. I started using this notebook mid March, and it split one day mid August. The pages are still sewn in securely so nothing is in danger of falling out, but this is a weird misstep in quality compared to the rest of the book. I have used it every day during that time, opening and closing it countless times, but I would expect a notebook marketed as a bullet journal to last a bit past 5 months (I have about 2 months worth of pages left to go).I am sad to give this book anything but a 5 star review, but with the amount of work I have poured into the pages of my journal, its a huge bummer to have it give out. I probably will not buy another one when this one is filled.

Supreme Quality Notebook that wins aethetically
At first glance, you can tell it’s made with quality and care. But after experiencing the craftsmenship, you’ll know the effort it took into every notebook. The leather has such a smooth, rich feel that’s been embossed with a cute peek-a-boo style animal that leaves such a pleasant subtle touch. The embossing it self is extremely clean and defined, no mistakes or errors. It’s accompanied with a flexible strap to keep the book closed and a pull tab in the back, as well as two separate colored bookmark straps. A nice feature in the back, is the portfolio type pocket that delightfully surprises you and sports the same peek-a-boo theme print. Inside are bonus themed stickers that come in a couple of sizes. But I think what really matters in a notebook, is the parchment. It’s not uncommon to find a decent notebook style that has decent paper inside. But this not only nails the aesthetics, but they also bring an extremely high quality paper to further stand apart from the rest. From precision cut and excellent print on the paper, the paper itself is soft and crisp to the touch. I’ve worked in an office store in my younger days and for corporations in my older, so I can tell the difference in high grade parchment. This is definitely well worth the price and more. I’ll be spreading the word and coming back for more.Great Job Arizon

Quickly Became My Favorite Notebook
As other reviews have stated, this is a quality product with great cover, format, and very nice paper. I don't use fountain pens or paint markers, paints, etc., but I do use a permanent fineliner as my writing instrument of choice, and while there has always been ghosting and occasional bleed-through with other notebooks I've tried, there is literally none with this notebook. Plus, it's cute, but not too cutesy. (In the same order I also bought a L1917 notebook with similar details, but I haven't bothered to use it yet, as this notebook is the only one I want to use anymore.) I will be ordering more of these.Edited to add: If there were one thing I'd change, it'd be to have pre-printed page numbers. It does have a nice Index.

Beautiful Notebook
I really like this journal. It has a page in the front to indicate any sort of bullet journaling key you have as well as pages to index your writings. I was surprised at how thick the notebook was. It is a bit thicker than other popular dotted notebooks, but I actually prefer it and really enjoy the feel of the notebook itself. The two bookmarks are very handy and I LOVE the pen loop that is included with it. There is also a pocket in the back and I have some carded washi tapes in there. The paper is great! It's a heavier paper and I haven't noted much buckling with the watercolor swatches I did in my notebook but I also haven't done more than swatch so I can't speak to any significant watercolor use. Regardless, I am impressed with how it has handled the watercolor so far. The paper is also smooth. None of my fountain pens bled on or through the paper and there is very minimal ghosting.Overall, I really enjoy this notebook. I would recommend it to anyone needing an A5 notebook for anything, but particularly for bullet journaling or art journaling since the quality of the notebook seems to be able to stand up to the extra medias we use.

Not a bad journal
Not a bad journal for the price. Nice thick pages prevent some bleed-through and I like that it has two ribbon bookmarks. The loop for holding a pen ripped out pretty easily, but that is only a minor inconvenience. Maybe it's just my journal, but the dots don't line up from one page to the next and I have to be careful with some of my layouts (like 2-page monthly calendars) so they don't look uneven.

Good journal, disappointing paper quality
I adore the look and stability of this journal. I have found that despite the heavier paper, it does seem to feather a lot and bleeds thru surprisingly easily - just as much as my Leuchtturm1917 - especially when using Tombows. I was hoping to be able to do more spreads incorporating watercolors with this journal, but I don't see that happening. The other thing is that the dot grids are not even. Other than that, it is a very nice journal. I'm disappointed with the paper quality and limitations, but since I've already started my 2019 journal using this, I will continue. Wouldn't purchase again - at least not for a daily bullet journal.
