West Chester IRONCAT IRONTEX 7050 Flame Resistant Cotton Welding Jacket, Medium, Green

This is a well made product and the buttons snap really well. It is a little different than the image provided for the product but good different. First the most noticeable is the collar is actually black and made of different material which is a little softer on your neck. Second there is a pocket on the front lower left side if you need it. Overall this is a great jacket and I will be ordering again when needed. I would recommend this product for any kind of welder or manufacturer.

I see alot of piledriver union members in these jackets. So thats like a clear sign that the jackets actually work. I havent quite put it to the test since ive been always welding downward instead of vertically, but nothing has burned me yet, thanks to the jacket and some gloves.

size seems normal.It looks really dorky, but hey what do you expect for $20?I rated it 3 stars for warmth because I didn't want anyone to think you can keep warm with it. That's not what it is for. In fact I wanted something that wouldn't overheat me with it over my normal clothes. It works great.

Use every day in pipe welding, fabrication, cutting and heat work. I wear a wool shirt underneath as a buffer/insulation layer. These jackets just work.

Shirt fits comfy and protects really well. the buttons however, are made really cheaply. the first time using it, two buttons broke off, they got stuck to each other and then ripped off the one side. second time a third one broke off.decent product, poorly made.

It is cooler than my leatehers and cut large for a decent fit over a leather apron.

Fits well, maybe thinner material than I expected, but ok for here in SE Florida.

Does it's job very well. You may see spots burned in if you're just learning oxyfuel cutting and get slag sprayed on you but even then it performs well. Size up a bit if you live in a climate where you might need a jacket underneath. Does not have shoulder pockets if that makes a difference to you
