You Can't Sit Down is a 75-track, 3CD collection that gathers together the best instrumentals. There is considerable variety as the lead instruments vary from record to record, naturally though, the guitar is dominant and you can enjoy virtuoso playing from Hank Marvin with the Shadows; the ultra-cool Link Wray with his Ray Men; and Dick Dale, who invented the surf guitar.

great for the car
An excellent varied selection of wonderful tracks. As other reviewers have said - i have many of these tracks on other cd's, but there are many which I now have just this one time. A great compilation for the car.

YOU CAN'T SIT DOWN 3 CD's from NOTNOW MUSIC
This is an bsolute bargain for lovers of instrumentals. 75 tracks - that's a lot so obvioiusly some are well known, others much less so, some are really good. others.... but with this number of well produced tracks you can hardly go wrong. The problem for me is that because I have collected and loved instrumentals from early Duane Eddy/Johnny and the Hurricanes in the late 50's there are very few that I don't have on my many compilations and individual artists albums, So, I think this may well be my last comp. record (I bet it won't be!!). If you may be at the beginning of enjoying/collecting instrumental comps you could well do worse than this fine example. There are too many tracks to list them all, but my personal favourites were, among many, "Don't be cruel" Bill Black, "On the Rebound" Floyd Cramer, "Can-Can 62" Sounds Inc (I know, but I love it.), "The Breeze and I" Fentones, and oh so many more, even if there are many duplicates.from other comps. Highly recomended (wish I had the patience to list all 75 tracks)

nice presentation
This CD Set came on time and the set to look at is excellent, 3 CDs made to look like vinyl in miniature. I love it. The down side is too many tracks that feel like filling.

Foot tapping all the way!
A varied collection of instrumental tracks from the UK and US. Many of the tracks are well known but there are also many lesser known tracks and some of them I believe to have never been issued on CD before.Worth every penny spent for 75 brilliant tracks.
