Great dowel pin jig
Having used this to do several tables, its exactly what i needed and is accurate and built to last. My favorite dowling jig and i have tried a few, sure it costsmore but it makes it up in ease of use and time saved versus the cheaper ones i have bought.

My jig arrived well packaged and right on time.This jig really works well. It's very strong and well made. My project (kitchen island) ended up having 67 individual pieces of wood. This little tool really helped me make all the joints very strong and lined up perfectly.The one challenge I had was seeing the centering lines on the middle section. They are etched into the black center piece and are painted white so they are visible but the outside clamp made it challenging for me to see them in my poorly lighted garage shop. I think my difficulty was more my fault than the design of this product. As I said, my project turned out looking great. Great product.

It does what it's supposed to do, what else can you ask for?
I'm only a hobbyist woodworker, so take my assessment with a grain of salt, but the Dowl-it worked brilliantly for me. I made heavy use of it in my most recent project (constructing a media center), and I'm not embarrassed to say that it's the nicest piece of furniture I've built thus far.There's not really much to review here. It's a couple of solid chunks of metal with a screw-drive to tighten and center it. It's just a nice, simple, solid jig.

Should have bought this one much earlier.This thing is built like a tank, can't find anything to complain.

Dowel Testing
Got this in short order. Used last night and I am very pleased with how easy it is to use. More importantly, how accurate it is. Joining two test boards was SPOT on. Thanks to the Manufacturer.Jim

Threaded rod is not a good quality. Keep it lightly oiled (regularly).

Great Jig
Works great, easy to use. However it would be very helpful if the hole sizes were in the jig, the center line for the holes are there but difficult to see. Other then that great jig.

Great Jig
Does was its supposed to and the all metal construction is very accurate and durable after inspecting some of the other downing jigs on the market.
