I'm a hammock guy, but for the past 30 years I've only had the rope-style large flat hammocks. I've avoided these camping type hammocks because they looked like you'd be squished and wrapped like a burrito. For only about $20 thought I'd give it a shot. I have to say, now that I've had this for two weeks and trying it out in the back yard, it's now my favorite - even more than the traditional rope hammocks. And, it's about half the price (or less) of the others, it's a quick set up and take down, and very portable. I'm 6' 1" and 240 lbs, and was concerned it might not support me, but it absolutely does with no concerns of it stretching, ripping, and ropes are very secure. The parachute material seems strong and it's very breathable: as I'm lying down I notice my back side is cooler, and you don't get sweaty, which is great. I can curl sideways in a fetal position very comfortably, lay cross-legged, and twist sideways to use it like a seat swing. Finally, another thing I love is that the top flaps can either hang on the outside to open it up more, or you can pull them over the top of you to create a top barrier that totally encloses you (with space above your face/chest) for privacy or to block wind, sun, etc. It's like a mini tent off the ground. The only con is that this hammock can be a bit difficult to get out of due to its sling-like style, but that's no big deal compared to all the benefits it has. I purchased the gray with orange trim, and looks very cool. Attached "bag" to stuff it in is a good idea too. All materials look like good quality. Relax, enjoy some soft swinging in the breeze!

So far this seems like an excellent little hammock! Well built, looks great, and have only one complaint. I don't like how the Carabiner is attached by a rope making a knot around it. I wish this was a more permanent attachment that has no way of coming undone. It should be a stiched piece of fabric the same as the straps so the only way it can come off is to unclip the Carabiner. Currently it's just a rope tied in a knot around it and when I received the hammock I was able to hand tighten it before laying on it so that was a concern of mine but it worked out fine after only one use as of now. Make the attachment point more sturdy and this would be a 5 star. Only for this reason I give it 4. Nice hammock.

I have bought at least 8 of these now. We stack them up 4 high in our campsite.Very durable and an unbelievable deal for the money. The straps are incredibly strong and they are included in the price. Awesome.

I took a chance on this one, and it paid off. Just got it in the mail, first thing I did was string it between two door frames (the hinges) in my apartment. I was pleasantly surprised by how compact the whole thing is. In the picture you see everything, all the straps, hammock, and carabiners are in a bag I can hold in one hand. I was concerned with how thin the material is, but it held my 200 pounds just fine, even with some experimental bouncing. I wouldn't hang myself off a cliff with this, but I like how light the material is. That'll be comfortable in the Texas heat.I'll update if anything changes, but I'm thrilled with this purchase.

Great for the price! This hammock is huge, and light. I just got it out of the box and am so excited to use it. Material feels strong, same as the higher priced ones you find in camping stores. Also comes strong and versatile straps. Great price.

So far this hammock is great it is very comfortable and fits two people as long as you don’t mind being very close to the other person. This hammock is great for camping, it’s light weight, and can hold a good amount of weight.

Used at camp this summer.my Boy Scout used 5 days out of 7. My son it was very comfortable. He did buy a net,to keep the buys away..(I did'nt think of that) He enjoyed it very much.

If you enjoy the "Golden Hour" just like me you need one of this. I just set it up between some trees at my patio and enjoy the sunset. Alcohol is optional, but a good book is not. PERFECT combination. BEST PURCHASE UNDER $100.
