My 43kg Golden Retriever ruined the previous stair gate when he tried to push the gate open to get upstairs. Saw this as it was stylish yet very sturdy. Easy to set up and as the main bannister support is not flat edged all the way up, the manufacturer supplies V clamps to support the gate on a round edge, these are supplied as separate purchase. It's still standing after several attempts for my dog to get up!

This is a really good product. It’s very hard to find wide stair gates but this works well. It’s attractive snd sturdy. Dies what it says on the box. More expensive than most gates but looks good and dies the job. It is also a good height.
