Autobody shop - we only use this
As a professional auto body shop owner, I’ve used many many different versions of sanding blocks from flat pieces of wood, to harbor freight alternatives- and I keep coming back to this set. Durablock provides an exceptionally high quality block that can tackle almost any job. Save yourself time (and money..) and buy this quality tool. The long block to the rounded block are my goto tools that I and instruct all my employees to use when blocking or sanding.

Durability
Used this brand for 14 years in auto body repairs accidentally lost my original set when I moved . This set so far has been doing well i just noticed the send two of the same blocks for one . Instead of a soft and hard slim block you get two hard slim blocks.

Too rigid
These are too rigid for block sanding compound curves on auto body panels. I bought these after I tore one the 11" Soft Sanders sanding blocks in half while pealing off a piece of self stick sand paper. I received these expecting them to be as flexible as the Soft Sanders. They are super rigid. I ended up using contact cement on the block I tore in half so I can continue using it. These are fantastic on flat surfaces or on body panels with a curve in one direction.

to do a good job
If you want your automotive parts to be in good detail and a good finish, I recommend it and they are super economical.

Love these things!
I was skeptical about spending $35 for foam sanding blocks, but figured I'd give it a try, and I'm glad I did. They're just pliable enough so that they give a bit to accommodate imperfections in the surface, but stiff enough that they are useful for shaping. I particularly like the round rod shape for finish-shaping complex curves in wood. And they work very well with adhesive-backed sandpaper rolls like the DuraGold sandpaper - the sandpaper sticks firmly but is easy to remove. Great blocks!

Great Quality, keeps shape and almost indestructable
As a experienced Auto-body Tech, i've always admired Dura Block sanders, they keep true to there shape and are flexible enough to work on any project no matter the shape of it. Over all these are the best hand sanding blocks on the market in my opinion and the cheapest place i've seen them listed is on here on Amazon.
