This is a decent food coloring. I had to add different colorings to make it more of what I thought dusty rose would look like. But overall, I would buy it again even though it is kinda pricey.

As a professional cookier, I like Americolor gel colors! They’re pigmented well, pretty good quality and easy to use. Pros: pigment is good so you don’t need to use too much, so it won’t affect your icing taste. Colors are pretty true to what they’re supposed to be and get the brightness or depth you’re looking for. They’re more affordable than other brands, as well. Downside: some colors are more liquid-y and some seem to be more thick which I’ve never been able to figure out. That can make it challenging to get the right amount of color into the icing.

The color is so pretty and versatile for any dessert. I love the dropper bottle because it makes it easier to measure how much coloring you're using. It's especially good for making anything ombre because you can control how much gel goes in each time. I used this to make all the fondant for the cake in the picture. You can see the range of color from very light to medium. You can even make it a darker rose color than what I tried.
