Raw Honey, Unfiltered, Unpasteurized 5 Gal (27.2 kg. 60 lb)(really real and natural)

It got to me reasonably fast, the box was a bit beat up but the bucket survived perfectly so no problems there. The honey is thick, with fine crystals throughout so it has a fair amount of opacity currently but I think If I warmed it, it would go nicely clear. The color is a medium amber with a hue to it that reminds me of freshly ripened oranges. It has a good, strong smell with diverse floral notes. Its flavor is very clean and bright with a lavender like hint at the end.I've gotten burned on the quality of a lot of bulk products lately, but this exceeded my expectations. Many thanks to the beekeepers and everyone else involved in process.

I've found that my best mead have been brewed from less processed or even crystallized honey. This will be the most raw form of honey I have had the pleasure to brew with. I tried some when it arrived and it is extremely sweet (in a good, clean way), and partially crystallized. I could taste the crystals in the texture. The reviews that complain about it being sugar sludge have probably never had real honey and don't know what they're dealing with. It even gives instructions on the packaging on how to liquefy the honey again.

It just was not that tastful

I am disturbed by people's reviews. This honey is crystalized because it has not been heated, a practice that destroys all the benefits of raw honey. This is RAW unheated honey. It will not look like the honey at the grocery store because it is better. When I purchase honey, I look for this. It will taste delicious in tea or spread on biscuits, but be careful not to heat it and damage the health benefits. If you want to know what they are, try an internet search on the health benefits of raw honey.

Great price, honey was crystallizing, but used Mason quart jars, filled, heared in pan of water to 185degrees and turned back to honey. I used 4 gallons for making Meade, the last gallon in quarts was canned and sealed. 1 quart for my coffee....... as soon as I can, I am going to buy another one. Great taste also.

This is nothing like honey!! Please save your Money. I bought this to use fo brewing a drink and I couldn’t use it, ITS SUGAR NOT HONEY, I rubbed it on my hand and I can see all the sugar cubes come out. I read other reviews and I had high hopes but guess some people don’t know what real honey looks like or they sent me sugar. It was a total waste of my money. I couldn’t return it because the shipping is not free.

I use to buy raw local honey $ 8.00 gal, 45 years ago, today's bees find it hard to survive, This is good honey from the bread basket of Europe , try it if you can justify the cost. can't pig out on honey like we use to. Its still a good deal in 2019.
