Inexpensive , smells nice, real good skin conditioner. I love it. And…. It doesn’t precede me into a room! It’s delicate.

The product itself is fabulous. It smells fantastic, and it feels great. As a balm it is fantastic, soothing and smoothing with the best of them. It is my #1 choice after trying more than 20. So why only four stars? The bottle is *terrible*! First, the pump tube only reaches down about 2/3 of the way into the bottle, so for the last 1/3, the pump is useless. Given how little you need with each use, that bottom 1/3 might result in months of frustration. Second, the bottle is square, so when you inevitably turn the bottle over to shake the rest out, you'll have to work very hard to get the final bits out because it will be stuck in the corners. Meanwhile the useless pump will have slick balm all over it, and that will now be on the counter making a mess. Third, because the bottle is square and the product is *just* thick enough, simply turning the bottle upside down on top of another bottle (think ketchup bottles in restaurants) won't work because the product will be stuck in the corners of the bottle. The product is a resounding 10. The bottle and pump are about a zero. If P&S fixes even just the length of the tube on the pump, this would be a grand-slam. Hell, just delivering it in a tube instead of a pump would solve the problem!

Results: 5 stars My skin feels better after this than any aftershave I have used recently. I think it is on about on par with the caswell Massey 1752 almond, which beats the pants off anything else I have tried. Seriously, smoother, softer skin - and no irritation at all on the neck. This is becoming a go to before court or important meetings. Cost: 5 stars For $10-$12 for four ounces, it's unbeatable. Twice the product for the same money as anything I've used that is comparable in quality. Smell..... 4 stars If you like woodsy, manly smells - you will like this. This might be how Hemingway smelled if he used mouthwash and lived in a pine forest. It reminds me of my grandfather. The smell is clean, green-ish, a touch smoky, and somewhat strong. I don't mind it one bit, but I like the smells of scotch and soap and cedar (and cordite and motor oil, etc). My girlfriend does not like it and it seems to last a bit longer than others, so I'm docking a star for potentially offending your mate... Though if I had to choose between a mate and a scratched up neck, I can't get another neck. Overall, if you have irritation issues, this is a great balm. Used today with: EJ-de89 razor, feather blade, the blades grim "smolder" shave soap (I'm surprised at how good that turned out to be, buy that too), proraso pre shave cream, and a small block of barbers alum.

I haven't and would not use any other aftershave balm ... love this stuff. Little problem with the last little bit in the bottle where the pump doesn't reach, but if you don't mind that little inconvenience ... if you're like me, you'll really like it.

The reviews on this after shave had me prepared for the worst. A lot of reviewers loved the scent and then there were people who thought it was terrible sprinkled in there. While still in its box and sealed by plastic the scent was very strong and I thought I would hate it. I was glad to find out it must of been another scent that came into contact with the box because the actual scent was very pleasant. I'm not a cologne guy and I love this scent. It's smoky and reminds me of cinnamon a lil bit and then you have jasmine and florals that make the scent feminine but still masculine. It reminds me of an oil scent you might get from a cart in a mall, flea market or bazaar. It moisturizes well with only 2 small dots pumped. Less is more. Don't over do it.
