JanlynnWildflowers and Finches Stamped for Embroidery Kit

The colors are nice and they seem to have given me enough thread to finish the kit.However, I was disappointed that the "frames" are cheap plastic - I thought I could use them like embroidery hoops in order to create these items. I thought perhaps they would be wood or adjustable. When you're finally done with your project, they want you to get cardboard and cut it into the shape of the frame and then pop it into the back of the frame, seriously.Also, the fabric is all one sheet. This is a problem because unless I get a huge embroidery hoop, then a smaller hoop around one of the images until I complete it will crimp the fabric for the other images. I can't just cut out the designs and separate them from each other because the instructions specifically say not to do that, probably because the designs are printed so close to one another and they're worried about fraying.In any case, I will still make this kit, and I still like the colors. However, I was disappointed because I couldn't start making it right away because I needed to go out and buy a hoop (thus somewhat defeating the purpose of online shopping).

I did not like the fact that all four designs were on the same piece of cloth. You only work on one design at a time and have to keep the other designs out of the way. I have folded the other designs over and taped them , that way I work only one at a time. I thought of cutting tham apart, but there is not enough cloth to do that and use a hoop. My suggestion is to make the cloth bigger so that you CAN cut them apart. That way you can tape the edges and use a hoop.

I received my embroidery kit today & I'm pretty satisfied with this quality of the items received. The only thing I don't think I'll use is the frames.. quite cheaply made. Overall I'm pretty satisfied. I'm a beginner so I'll update on the ease of use later.

I completed this set of four and it is adorable. The frames are cheap, unfortunately, so I discarded them and bought some nice 4 x 4 frames on Amazon to replace them and they look lovely, hanging on the wall. Recommended!

It is a smaller product than I thought.Suttle is plastic, but it is too thin.disappointed.I have a printer on my cloth and it helps me to work.It is a good product considering the price, but I recommend buying it carefully.

This embroidery kit is just so cute. There is a lot of fine detail on the kit but well worth the outcome. The frames are cheap looking but you could purchase other frames if you wanted to. I like the Janlynn kits and will continue to purchase them in the future. I find that the Jaclyn kits are well worth the money.

Difficult to work with due to very thin fabric. All 4 are on one piece. I didn’t cut down and tried to use a larger frame while stitching, but the fabric kept sliding around. Frames that came with these are small,to fit the design, but too small to use to stabilize while working.

This is a really nice embroidery kit for beginners, this is my first time using satin stitch and it was easy to do. Instructions are quite clear even though they are black&white.I have only finished 1 pattern out of 4, there were enough thread for it, but cannot say about the whole set.There are 4 frames for embroidery which do not have a cover, so it would be hard to use them to put embroidery in. However, I am not sad about it because I was taking the kit for the embroidery itself, not the frames and the kit os good for the price. Just note that you'll provably need your own frames.
