SWISSMAR Wine Stoppers Set of 4, 1 EA

Thank goodness the set of four epivac wine stoppers I needed were inside the package. The package itself was torn open.

I first started using the Epivac system about 15 years ago, and lately I noticed that my original stoppers had started to wear out. So I bought these. They are different from the ones I originally bought. The ribbed part is longer, and possibly slightly larger in diameter. I have had trouble getting these into some wine bottles, and they don't always work - either they block somehow so you can't work the pump or they don't seal well enough to hold the vacuum. This doesn't happen 100% of the time, but it happens enough that I am now considering other options.

Purchased these as a replacement for our old set of wine stoppers. Over time, we found that the stoppers lost their elasticity and stopped properly sealing wine bottles (especially when the weather is cool). These new stoppers work like a charm. Have been using them for almost a month without problems, but I suspect that they too will age, like our old set. For a price, great product!

We have been using this system for several years. They are durable and we have never failed to seal. They would last longer if we did not put them in dishwasher

I have used this item in the past and need to order replacements only because in my house we all drink diferent types of wine and this saves us from having to dispose of left over old wine.I love this product.The wine tastes as good as the 1st time I open it weeks later!It was recieved days after ordered!

I never drink a whole bottle of wine at once, and I leave white wine in my fridge to cook with, so these are very useful. They take out all the oxygen, so the wine keeps a long time even once it has been opened.

I bought these stoppers as a way to keep air away from color photographic developing chemicals. They do the job very well. I frequently check to see if any air has leaked into the bottles - there seems to be a perfect vacuum.

Hard to find these in local shops. So happy to be able to still get them as they work so much better than the other brands.

My wife, trying to be humorous, wrote the previous review to this product.Anyway, these plugs are an excellent replacement for the cork variety and can be used indefinitely.You need the little pressure pump as well if this is your first time with them.EnjoyNick

I should've known when the order arrived with two of the stoppers not in its place in the package. We thought maybe we just weren't pumping it up right but it kept losing its vacuum. By the time we realized they were defective, the return window had already passed. Not happy!
