Mighty LeafGreen Tea, Organic Hojicha, 15 Pouches

I love the aroma of this Green Tea. It tastes nothing like what you buy from markets. I place my regular order every month.

Great roasted tea, very rich flavor and awesome aroma. I use close to boiling water when I brew this tea and I really enjoy how the Hojicha develops as it steeps. Outstanding flavor. Price is absurd, the cost of this tea is ridiculous. I saw it on sale at the grocery store for 5.99 per box of 15 just days after receiving/opening from Amazon. Not sure why it is more than double that price online.I have had this tea many times at a local bake shop, and many times I have paid a hefty price to drink it. In an effort to save some money I tried ordering this on Amazon from the seller PTOMart. The product shipped quickly and in a few days I had the tea I'd been waiting for. The only problem was that every cup from this package I have made so far has been flat. No strong roasted flavor, it basically tastes watered down and flavorless even after allowing extra steeping time than normal. Usually it has a great smell and deep rich flavor and color. Im wondering whether or not the seller has had this tea sitting around for a while before it gets shipped out. Day after day of disappointment from the lacking flavor, color, and aroma inspired me to purchase again from the local bake shop where I was once again floored by how great this tea tastes.Be careful who you order this tea from. When it is fresh, it is unstoppable.

I am so disappointed with how my tea came. The box was opened and it was all smooshed. Also, it doesn’t look like the same box as the picture advertised. I’ve had this tea at a local coffee shop and loved the taste, so it was quite a disappointment when it came in the mail like this.

Got here on time. A great twist on green tea. I tried this tea upon someones suggestion and wasn't disappointed. From what I understand this teas isn't fermented but actually just pan roasted to give it s unique flavor.

Very much like this tea. I ordered 6 boxes and only 2 left in no time. Guess I am a green tea addict.

I love the taste. It’s a little pricey but flavor is like no other green tea I’ve found.However the box was completely crushed. No damage to bags but came in the soft envelope and looks like it was stepped on. So don’t plan on it as a gift.

Love the flavor of the tea; however, I read on Mighty Leaf's website that the tea sachets are made of polyester - we all know the toxins released from heating/contact with plastic! Plus, the first listed source of tea is from China - which is extremely polluted, and the 'organic' certification is a joke. (I've found from my exhaustive research that the only food item that's ok from China is goji berries, as they're grown high in the mountains). I always buy organic loose-leaf tea and matcha, but got this for my Mom, as she loves it and the convenience of the sachets. I have enjoyed drinking a cup or two when I visit her. After telling her these issues, she will no longer be purchasing.
