New English Teas Tea Rations Tea Tin with 40 English Breakfast Teabags, World War 2 Memorabilia

I've no complaints about this tea or tin. The tin is super cute and vintage, would make a great gift. I bought it for the WW2 tin, knowing some reviewers hated the tea, but the taste is fine to me. I like my tea strong, and I've tasted a lot of different black teas from many mainstream British brands. Even though some reviews say this tea is weak, I don't feel that way. On the contrary, it's very good!

We'd had this tea once while visiting someone and loved it. I was so excited to find it available online. It took a while to get here but only because it had to ship overseas. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I love tea and I love having novelty items having to do with tea. This was just a splurge on my part, but the tin that I can use again is definitely a plus.

Well, not the review I thought I’d be writing. I got this mainly for the cute factor of the black/yellow tin color as my kitchen is also black/yellow. I figured I was paying for the tin and getting some mediocre tea thrown in. I was wrong. This tea is very good! And I get my love of tea from my British Mom. The tin is another story. It came with a strip of VERY sticky tape wrapped around the top to bold the lid down. Finally got it off but it left SO much sticky residue behind that, after two attempts to remove it with my special cleaner that makes goo be gone, it STILL has sticky residue around the top. And the lid had two very noticeable dents. So, buy this for delicious tea, but don’t expect much from the tin.

The tin is quaint and perfectly sized. The tea inside was just what I like!!

Gave it to my granddaughter...she was very pleased. Liked the replica tin as well.
