Ardell DUO Quick-Set Striplash Adhesive, Dark, 5 g (Pack of 1)

I'm an absolute beginner at applying fake eyelashes, and individual lashes was just impossible for me. This glue is amazing, though- it really stays. I would NOT advise anyone to apply it immediately, but wait a few seconds for it to try a little, because it burns so much. Probably to a test area. The smell reminds me of UHU liquid adhesive, actually. It dries white, so if you have messy application and shaky hands you need to clean up a bit afterwards. It lasts long, too- it survived being caught in a downpour + shower. I haven't tested out the claim that it lasts weeks because it's only been 3 days, but it's going strong so far. It comes off easily with oil-based removers, so make sure you use water-based makeup removers when removing mascara etc or the eyelashes will come off. Originally I used the eylure glue and was unhappy because it dried in thick plastic-y layers and you could really see the glue and it just ruined the effect. It was also not very strong and lashes would fall out that same night despite the description saying it lasts 2-4 weeks (i was picking them out of my pillow to save them and my sheets are black so that was not easy!). After watching some youtube product reviews I tried duo and it's incredible! Dries a little bit slower than the eylure glue but its good because you dont waste as much glue from it drying too quickly and you can get half an eye done on one little iddy biddy droplet. I am so impressed. Three days and four nights of wedding festivities, hang overs and hayfever and they still look amazing. I have to say i was worried because there were some negative reviews on this product... I hate to say it but if you're giving it a naff review you're probably not applying the eyelashes/glue properly. I cant really see the glue like i could with eylure, it sort of just looks a bit shiny where the glue but its just like the light catching the eyelashes rather than massive clumps of eylure glue! Dries clear, super strong i have no converted to duo glue and ardell individuals.

I tried this glue once to do my own eyelash extensions, the glue dries hard as a rock and is uncomfortable on the eyes and no matter what I tried to remove them IT WOULD NOT MELT THE GLUE. I now have big bald spots in my eyelashes. I'm devastated 💔

Great glue my lashes stayed on for 3weeksi inviduals they would have stayed longer if I didn't go in the sea the glue is only waterproof for so long if your going on holiday the glue strips if your going in the sea but apart from that it great a last long

This glue was very effective for individual lashes. When cared for correctly the lashes stayed on for around a week and a half for me however it was important to slow the glue to be tacky before applying to ensure it stuck properly. Much more effective than glue included with other lashes. When removing using coconut or castor oil was most effective! Glue wasn’t easy to see when on lashes either.

I previously used Eylure’s lash glue and found that it was so messy to use and turned white when it dried, which isn’t ideal. But this lash glue dries clear, keeps my lashes in place and doesn’t cause a mess. Love it!!

Great glue I use it with flare lashes and apply it to under the lash rather then on top. Holds for a week plus. Doesn't sting on skin and easy to remove. No visible glue around lashes.

This product is great as it stays on for many many days. Please don’t repeat my mistake of using daily, it RIPS your eyelashes off and is a pain to remove. I’ve lost a lot of eyelashes the first time I used this as I didn’t realise it was supposed to last a few days. It is waterproof, once I’ve realised it was supposed to last a few days, I’ve showered with it and it stays on :) the only concern I have is that it burns your eye and makes it water when applying and many hours after the glue has dried, the eye can get a bit irritated.

I wear individual eyelashes (under the lashline). My eyelashes last for weeks at a time. I learned the technique from watchng a few videos on Youtube.. and while it is detrimental to my natural lashes (I've hardly any left.) I could care less as when I'm ready to wear my natural lashes again.. I'll just grow them in again with Lilash.. but I never want to be natural again!!! And DUO is helping with that quest! I LOVE my long diva lashes.. This lash adhesive is phenomenal. I don't try to remove the lashes by pulling on them as the glue is way too strong.. I either have to let them fall out naturally or I soak my lashes in olive oil, or coconut oil and then rest a Neutrogena makeup remover wippe on my lashes.. after a few minutes they fall right off. I love the clear kind as I don't get those horrible black clumps that the other kind can leave. My only complaint.. I wish my foundation didn't find it's way to my eyelashes and rest on the glue sometimes.. it's an easy fix - I just brush a tiny bit of eyelash extension mascara over any foundation on my lashes to cover. When using the glue for best results, I blow on it just a tad so it gets tacky.. Fabulous eyelashes for days and days...

Overall the product was easy to use with the brush tip. I found it very convenient that there was both clear and black, the only issue I had was how quickly I went through the lash glue. The glue also dried around the screw part over time and led to all the glue drying out.
