The product will just put out your incense. Backflow incense cones have a hole on the bottom where the smoke comes out and the holders have to have a hole and path for that smoke. This is just a flat base. I kept the product because it looks very cool with a colored tea light inside and I do really like it. But it should not be advertised as an incense burner.

I love this item. What I dónt love is the box was ripped open inside the shipping box. One of the wing spikes was busted off. There were no backflow cones with it. As promised there would be 3. There were none so other than being lied to about the contents,the broken wing and damaged box I love it.
