The book is very good. Very well explained and what the author has done here is he has shared his knowledge also. If you don't know anything about the subject then I advice you to watch some YouTube videos and read a book by K S Charak- " Elements of Vedic Astrology" clear your basics and Study the book. everything is so nicely explained. You need a lot of concentration though . But the book is very good. Only just you have to have basic knowledge

I brought this book from here only for around Rs. 750 . The very next day price dropped by a hundred rupees. :|. Anyway it is the core text of Hindu Vedic Astrology and the translation is to the point and no exaggeration. However, this is the classical translation of the text and in this practical modern world you will need to use these classical interpretations accordingly. So if Bharat Parashra says that the native will have elephants and horses (because he has a strong Venus) it only means you will have cars and vehicles. This text is very important for you to read and learn if you wish to understand some basics and core of vedic astrology. Everything is explained in a nice way A recommended buy and a steal at this price.

Looks like a second hand product. The cover is soiled and there are some pencil marks inside Vol1.

It is a complete book for any astrologer. This classical text book is a must have book for beginners also. The language was easy and each shlokas were described.

Es ist gut, dass der Sanskrit-Text, wenn auch nicht ohne Fehler, veröffentlicht wurde. Allerdings wurde der Text nicht aus dem Sanskrit übersetzt, sondern wahrscheinlich aus einer Hindivorlage. Der englische Text stimmt, das bestätigen meine Stichproben, nicht mit dem Sanskrittext überein. Beispiel: Im ersten Vers heisst es, dass Ganesa von den "Scharen der Geister usw. bedient" wird. Die Übersetzung redet von den 5 Elementen. Das ist eindeutig falsch.

It is a must have for a person interested in vedic astrology! It is advised that you get a bit familiar with some of the sanskrit and basic vedic terminology. At times, some of the terms and principles can be misunderstood for the novice of vedic astrology if freshly picking up this book. But I do highly recommend!

It arrived promptly - 2 volumes and its in English but with extracts in Hindi.Its a gift so I have no opinion of the contents, but seems very good value.

What a great price for these brand new books!!
