First pump I received did not work, the float wasn't reliable. Ask for an exchange/replacement by following the steps provided, received the replacement within days of shipping back faulty one. That one worked very well. Great service, great pump.

It works good

Can't beat this price compared to Walmart or any local auto part store. They over price their bilge pumps and they are weaker to include no auto pump feature. This has three wires so it has a ground(-), one positive(+) wire that wired directly to the 12v for the built in float to activate once it rises above parallel to the mounting surface. The second positive(+) wire/remote wire can be hooked up to a switch to tell it to turn on. Say the internal float valve fails which I don't see happening so not exactly necessary. Could just put this one on the floor, wire it to the battery with one 12v positive wire without the remote wire and consider yourself good to go(of course with at least a functions test.) Yet sometimes with a little bit of water in the boat, it won't engage the pump float to turn on if it's to low, so the additional remote power wire helps in that situation.

Works fine. Easy installation

Bilge works just fine off the switch but does not work automatically. It is wired appropriately and works if i manually push the float up but the water does not push it up and active it on its own. pushes at an ok flow rate. I had another brands version of the same power on a different boat that was way more powerful.

One of the most important things to have working on your boat is a boats bilge pump. This small but powerful pump can handle all the water from a tropical storm that seems to happen very often in south florida. The automatic float switch is a great feature and can be switched from constantly running if you just want to clean out any water from just cleaning the inside of the boat or for emergency when your not around and a pouring rain fills the hull of the boat which would make your boat sink. This feature makes owning a boat less worrisome. Great buy and everything was included to make it a simple install.

I have had this pump for one month. Unable to return as two days past the date. The pump is all corroded and quit working.
