Its super sturdy and very easy to install lamp, While assembling you need to attach one rod with the other one, likewise it comes with 5 set of rods but i remove one rod to reduce the height of the lamp. It was a Super fast delivery. A must buy however price wise its on the higher side in compare to Ikea website. Note: It doesn’t come with a bulb Thank you seller for shipping ikea products which is not possible to get it in Bangalore.

Price shown here was the same as that printed on the box. The item is available on IKEA website for 999.. product manufacturing date is April 2014.. if IKEA doesn't deliver to you then this is your best bet.. the base is about 2kg.. decent weight, the rods are also powder coated well.. quality is fine.. the lamp shade looks like frosted glass in the pictures but is actually plastic.. needs E27 bulbs.. using it with a Philips smart bulb.. works perfectly fine.. fair deal at best

Its really nice and makes the place that you put it more beautiful. The problem that I find with it is that the lamp shade is too short and no matter which bulb you use its sticks out like a sore thumb. Further if you want to use a Smart Bulb, 99% of which are available in India are with B22 holder, it sticks out more as you would need to use a E27 adapter. A solution could be that Ikea sells these with the bulb so that it looks the way they want that it should look like. Still Im not sure if the bulb they will provide will actually remain hidden inside the lamp shade.

Definitely worth the money. Without a doubt the best lamp available at this price point. Sure it can be bought cheeper from IKEA itself, but they're only in Mumbai and Hyderabad at the moment, so buying from elsewhere, it is worth it, the quality more than justifies the price. People who see it will think it costs much more than this. And IKEA is a global brand, you can buy with confidence. Note: You will need an E27 bulb to go along with it. Wasn't written in the description. 7 watts LED E27 gave sufficient brightness for me.

Worth the price and it's very simple to assemble... Even for a novice. Quite sturdy given the solid base which holds the pipes together along with the top shade. Elegant to look at and adds a grace and elegance to the living room. Can't expect more for this price and it stands out easily reasonable! The only con is that it requires an E-27 bulb, which is a screw type unlike the most commonly used B-22 in India. Yet, with a little effort it can be sourced locally from any Electrical store or procured on order from Amazon itself. Admire Amazon for the great transparency and quality of deliverables which makes it the best e-commerce vendor across the world! Truly, Amazon rocks and tops, standing always at No.1 and I've never been disappointed even once!! Look at my video on assembling the product from unpacking till it's end look. I wanted a nice floor lamp from a long time but all the lamps that i saw on amazon and on flipkart were really expensive and not to my liking. Than i found this awesome lamp. It is a really nice modern looking lamp only downside is its available for cheaper on ikea website but they only deliver to hydrebad and mumbai. So the extra amount paid here is totally worth it. Pros: 1. easy to assemble - comes in a compact package 2. sturdy design: Metal pedestal with a strong base and plastic doom shade 3. Looks: elegant and sleek design 4. E27 - Lamp Holder however you can use b22 bulb with an adapter 5. Alexa echo/ Google dot compatible - use the wifi bulb - e27 type 6. i don't know why they described it as plastic lamp - the pedestal is made of metal - powder coated aluminum pipe Cons: 1. shade is plastic but looks classic 2. simple design so the cable and switch is hanging along the pedestal rod. 3. no other cons i can think of.

Although the item is very good but unfortunately the lamp shade in broken condition. I shall be highly obliged if you can arrange newly one. I.am ready to pay for it.Till to date I have not gpt any reply from your end. Let me know your current step of actions..,....... Broken lamp shed supplied, several reminder, no action taken. So I insist no one to buy it. I'm totally cheated. As on 06/04/2025 no reply at least sent.

Even from the beginning I was impressed with this, just for it's ease of assembly. When put together after very few minutes, I liked its appearance and especially the quality of the light produced by the recommended (but not included) soft, warm, LED light. It is a very simple and unsophisticated product, but with a sleek modern appearance which would blend in with almost any room. It has just one on/off control, which I like because almost nothing can go wrong. After purchasing one to replace a lamp which had failed, I was so impressed that I immediately purchased another for a neglected location. More than worth the low price.

I wanted to buy a tower lamp for my room, but didn't want to spend huge amounts of money for a decorative model. I just needed something that worked and did the job, and that is what this lamp does. Assembly is super simple, you don't really even need the manual that comes with it. Place the bottom base on the floor, then screw on all the pipes. Then attach the bulb socket, then unscrew the threaded ring, place the shade on top, then screw the threaded ring back on. Place your bulb of choice into the socket, plug the cord in, and flip the switch on, simple. The quality of the lamp is actually pretty good. It has a solid weight in the bottom base, aluminum pipes, and a good switch on the cord. The top shade is made of plastic however and is a bit flimsy. It works just fine, but just know that if somebody were running in the house and knocked this lamp over, more then likely the shade is going to break on it. I bought one of those remote controlled RGB multi-colored bulbs to run in this lamp. The bulbs can be remotely turned on/off, change brightness, color, they are really nice. I highly recommend them. For the cheap cost of this lamp, and how well that it works, I do recommend it, 5 out of 5 stars.
