Sea Dog 4" Stainless Door Stop & Catch

I use these on my doors at home.I had the swingy hooks but replaced them because they rattle around in the wind and leave scratches in the paintwork.These door stop/catches grab the door and hold tight. No rattling. No scratching. Easy to unclip the door by pressing on the lever.There’s a bit of play in the catch so even my doors that don’t fold back completely parallel to the wall are able to catch. I thought I might have to add a shim to make them line up but it wasn’t necessary. YEMV

This door stop and catch will fit a 2006 SeaRay 40 Sundancer ... I at first ordered the 2.5 inch but it was too short.. the actual original is 3.5 inches (spring broke).. but this one being 4 inches worked just fine, I did have to drill 2 new holes, but it was super simple...and the new latch works like a champ.

The media could not be loaded.  I've had this installed on my boat for about a year now, it's a high quality product and I'm very happy with it.The photo and illustration on the listing are incorrect. The actual dimensions of "B" are 4 inches.
