Great deal, great product, saved us a lot of grief... thanks Arnott!
To start off our Audi Allroad's front suspension had a terrible sag and it could barely be driven (it felt like it was lowered 3 inches). After some research on the Audi Forums and a 2.5 hour diagnosis at a local repair-facility we were told that we needed to replace the suspension airbags. Another link on the forums told that the best product for the price is by Arnott's on Amazon. We had to spend over $1k in total, but now wer'e back on the road and everything works great! Arnott sells a great product that is less than half the price of the dealer and did the job perfectly! Overall we saved lots of $$$ and that is great.Though there was some minor confusion as their tracking # was wrong and showed that the package was sent back. A quick phone call clarified that the package was already delivered and somehow they sent a duplicate package and that was the one sent back... we were on a road-trip and needed the part ASAP so that was a scare! Will definitely recommend Arnott to others looking for a quality part at a fraction of the cost compared to the dealer. Thanks again!

These replacement Air Springs work great. Since they're after market
These replacement Air Springs work great. Since they're after market, I wish they would have been a little cheaper in price. However, they do the trick and are a lot less than Audi's parts. The instructions and YouTube video help immensely in showing how to install them. Some points I would like to make.....1. The six bolts on the top of the assembly need a 12 point triple square bit (Amazon sells them too). 2. Removing the shock from the Air Spring is difficult. What's even harder is removing the nut from the top of the shock. The easiest way I found was to use an allen wrench through the middle of an open socket/ratchet (I have the following Craftsmen set -> CRAFTSMAN 85-PC Universal MAX AXESS Mechanics Tool Set) which allowed me to keep the shock from rotating as I removed the nut. Also, they're some good sources online which help too!

Great investment
I had some trouble getting these installed. I hired the place that sold me my tires to do the work which turned out to be a mistake. If they have to check their computer to see if they put air springs on an Audi then you should turn and walk out. Anyway, after 5 trips, one tow truck ride and a replacement spring overnighted to me, they are installed, with new tires, and I couldn't be happier. My 2001 Allroad now performs like I imagine it did when it rolled off of the production line. Maybe better?...I want to thank buyautoparts.com for taking such good care of me. They were incredibly helpful with my warranty claim and just nice people. They have a customer for life now...Oh yeah, Amazon kicked butt on the shipping and service...yadda, yadda. :)

great product, great review
The instructions and product were great. I ordered the shocks along with new airsprings, so I am reviewing them together. The installation was easier than expected, though as someone noted, you do need a 12 point torx, rather than the normal 6 point. Luckily the instructions were provided and very good. I wouldn't have dared undertake the installation myself without them. The good news is that the tox is eliminated altogether in teh Arnott setup as was another bad design that I can't quite remember now. With the new componenets I can feel the front suspension handling better than the back with the old OEM springs and shocks. This is probably mostly down tot he Bilstein shocks.

Great Product, Easy installation - Read This First
I purchased the airspring as a replacement for the leaking stock Continental airspring on my 2005 Allroad 4.2. The cost of the unit was about half that of the dealer cost for the OEM part. The ordering process and delivery were painless. I had downloaded the installation instruction from the web and it seemed easy enough. The instructions that came with the unit were also easy to follow.Upon disassembling the suspension and removing the airspring and control arm assembly, I encountered aluminum #6 spline drive bolts (x6). These are not Torx bolts no matter what the guy at the auto parts store tells you. Be sure to have this tool on hand. Arnott is kind enough to provide you with hex bolts for replacement. The total ease of the replacement was amazing - actual labor time was about an hour. The fit and finish of the new airspring was great. The vehicle performs like new and I don't worry about the suspension sag that you're probably experiencing. I will be purchasing another one from Arnott to replace the other corner.

So far so good
So far so good. I let my allroad sit in the driveway for months teasing me, while I did research on the best options for what to do about my front airbags. There aren't that many foreign car specialists within an acceptable radius, and Audi dealerships were out of the question. Finally, I found a local strut shop that agreed to let me supply the part for them to install, so long as I paid for and let them perform a brake job. By my gorilla math, I saved myself over a cool giesel buy picking these springs up on amazon. Suspension isn't something to take shortcuts with, but if you do your homework, and play the angles, you can save some dough, and build a potentially long term relationship with a mechanic who'll work with you.

Perfect replacement!
Basically 5 stars, but the documentation needs updating, so 4 stars.Took about 2 hours to replace. Beware of the pinch bolt! Also as mentioned in other reviews make sure you have 12pt torx, I luckily already had one from removing the door latches. The only other slight worry I had was the air strut wasn't seated/sealed on the shock after installation. I had to lower the car while making sure the strut seated properly. Then it initially leaked from the bottom seal, but i believe it just required the weight of the car to get it fully seated. It's been working fine for 4+ months now. I have an original audi strut on the opposite side and the level height didn't require readjusting afterwards.

Great product, Great quality.
Product works as designed. Install went great. The included upper o-ring and upper rubber bumper are a godsend. When I got my air bag out of the car, The original upper o-ring and bumper were absolutely thrashed. I am glad that this kit includes those items. i would recommend this product to anyone with an Audi Allroad that has a failed Airbag.
