Yeah, 30 years later I've got extra aches and pains that rekindled my desire to try DMSO. LOL!When I was a kid (about 50 years ago), I jumped down the last quarter of a flight of stairs and jammed the big toe on my left foot. I was using a cane and wearing a moccasin on my left foot for a while. It got better, but it was always sensitive. And it kept getting more sensitive until it started hurting and locking up. This past year, it got so bad that I knew I had to do something about it. Out of nowhere (it seemed) I remembered DMSO. I did a quick search and found it everywhere.I've got Amazon Prime, so I always check it out here. I love the reviews, especially the detailed ones, because it gives me a lot more to go on. This particular products got great reviews and information regarding why it might work better than some of the other cheaper versions (such as its purity). So I bought it September 10 and got it two days later.Now, I was pretty sure it was going to help me, but I had no idea how quickly I would begin to notice its affects. I mean, I had to stop myself from getting too excited too soon because I had just rubbed some on my left foot and I was feeling a loosening of the joint in the ball of my foot where the big toe connects. By the following morning, I was able to stretch the joint in my toe again, and it popped numerous times, which has always given me a release from the pressure and pain I had been experiencing. I'm putting this stuff on every day and my foot is feeling increasingly better. I'm not going to tell you that all the pain or all the stiffness is gone (after all, it's been 50 years in the making), but I can tell you that my toe and foot has not felt this good in years!At the same time, I figured if it worked so well on my foot, why not try it elsewhere? So I did. I've been suffering neck pains for years, especially after an injury caused two discs to become herniated about 12-15 years ago (why, oh why didn't I think about DMSO then?). So, I rubbed it all over my neck.Now, for those of you who have sensitive skin like I do, you might want to be prepared for a strong prickling of the skin. It didn't bother my foot, but I still get an itchy, prickly sensation that can last up to 30 minutes. It's almost like the feeling of a sunburn. But you want to know what? I can tolerate the uncomfortable affects on my skin when I get such amazing results! Part of my job at Home Depot is operating the lift equipment. I was getting ready to call it quits because I was finding it more and more difficult to turn my head (and I had stopped operating the machinery years before when I hurt my neck). I mean, it was less than a week after I had started applying the DMSO gel when I was operating the reach truck, and I realized that I was able to turn my head farther and with more ease in both directions than I had for more than a year! Prickly skin effect? Piece of cake!Okay, true story. I just turned 62 in July, and my feet have not stopped growing. I just recently graduated from size 12 to size 13. It felt like I was wearing clown shoes. So, I've been more than a little clumsy lately. To make a short story, a week or two after my neck was feeling so loose and pain-free, I tripped at work while doing a two-man lift of a large boxed cabinet. My shoe got caught on the pallet, and my immediate reaction was to protect the merchandise. So, when I tripped, instead of protecting my body, I fell to the right, and whacked my head on one of the 4' display ladders. I mean, it was so hard, and it caught me on the right side of my head at the back of the jaw and the bottom of the ear. I also scraped the upper side of my face. The pain in my ear was intense for about 15 minutes. Of course, I had to fill out an accident report. After the pain subsided, I opted not to go to the hospital. My neck was hurting, and all I wanted to do was to get home and apply some DMSO. I put it all over the side of my head. Numerous people told me I was going to be bruised and hurting for a long time. Guess what? NO BRUISING. The person who actually saw me fall and hit my head still can't believe how well I recovered. She immediately purchased this same product. I did wake up the next night with my neck in knots and a pounding headache. I just applied some more DMSO and it slowly started going away immediately!I use this gel everywhere! I've had lower back pains for decades. It was getting so bad recently that I had to think about whether I wanted to bend down and pick things up off the floor at work. Just a little prickly sensation there, but my back is feeling better now that it has for a few years.I use this on my right index finger where I slipped and ran a screw gun tip in the joint 6 months ago shortly after purchasing a new guitar. It's gone from barely being able to bend it to almost back to normal in the month I've been using it.One of my relatives asked if it could help for hemorrhoids. I didn't know, but my wife had read reports saying people experienced relief in that area. I just told her to go easy since it was a rather sensitive area. It has sealing layer. Very clean on appearanceBut when I received the DMSO big bottle, it was not sealed properly.
