LOVE THIS COLORFUL MAP!

I homeschool, and I love this poster, and the matching USA poster. I ordered both of them. The front side ONLY is "laminated." The back side is paper. I have a swam cooler where we live, and the house gets very humid. It turned out that mold began to grow on the back of the posters as they hung on the wall. I ordered them again and this time, before I even took them out of the box, I drove to an office supply store that laminated posters. They laminated both of my map posters, with the thick 5 mil lamination for a combined price of around $15.00. Now they will survive another summer with the swamp cooler!

The map was packed in a window type box which did not have plastic overlay. That box was packed into a much too large Amazon box which was not taped properly. The amazon box was damaged and appeared to have been retaped. Inside, the map box was bent and as a result the map also was bent and wrinkled within. We decided to keep it anyway, however it was disappointing as far as the handling in shipping the map to us. Also, I’d like to mention that the map itself, while not laminated, it did have a plastic coating on the front only, which would make dry erase markers acceptable to use. However, the paper itself was very thin and easily wrinkled and indented, so I don’t think it would be durable over a long time with repeated use of dry erase markers. Overall the printing of the map was good, text clear and details were great.

Not worth the price. Just your basic map that should not have cost more than $5

Great map for the money. I love that it comes in a box within a box to protect it from damage which several others I read about people complained about damage. While it does not have a thick laminate, it does seem to have a thin coating of something which could be consider a lamination I guess. Due to the thin coating, it is not as durable as if it had a strong lamination but for the money, I wasn't expecting something really thick anyways. Overall it looks great and does the job.

Nice for the price, haven't tried dry or wet erase markers yet but it should work w/ no problem.

Perfectly adequate map for rough planning of my trips at a glance. Only shows a few cities in each state, though.

Arrived quickly, even during holidays and postal strike. Rectangular box protected map. Looks great, but to say it's laminated is a stretch. It's more like the glossy cover on a hardcover book.
