Great for the Disney fan
My teen son is an aspiring animator and this is a fantastic start. He’s 15 and really loves it.

A bit too simple
Great for very young artists but does not have as many “lessons as other” as other how to draw books, and too many “tracing” lessons.

Yes, I did learn to draw Mickey and Friends and had fun
Illustration is just a hobby of mine and I've sketched a lot of Anime/Manga characters and scenes over the years but never any Disney characters. The instructions were great and if you follow them, with some practice, you'll be able to replicate the characters in the poses shown. Then you can go online and branch out to different poses once you understand the basic shapes and elements of each character. I had a lot of fun working through the book. I did the drawings on an iPad Pro but could just have easily used paper, pencil, pen and markers/colored pencils.
