I like that it closes compactly, and that the bristles are natural and not synthetic (so they grab powder and distribute it evenly). I liked it enough that I will order another one to use at home as this one is kept with my travel supplies. You do have to tap the base on the counter or push it in to get the brush to lock in order to use it, so it doesn’t collapse back into the handle. Then you pull on the bottom base and the brush just pulls right back inside - cap it and it’s ready to go.

The hair comes out on my face. I wouldn’t buy it again.

Just setting the record straight bc I saw this had 4 stars. It is a 5 star product. Natural goat hair, totally hypoallergenic, works amazingly. I lost mine and I'm buying it again.

Fits perfectly in my makeup bag in my purse. The bristles are so soft!
