It kept making noise, but stopped moving. I took off the skin and found that the two halves of the ball had twisted out of place. I took away one star for durability because the cover really doesn't last very long.I took one star off for longevity simply because you go through a lot of batteries with this.So, Mocha loves this toy. They're a little expensive simply because they really don't last long.But dang does it provide action for our dog and laughs for us!She picks it up and flips her head, throwing it into the air to smash down on our wood floors. She pounces on it and chases it across the room. Occasionally she'll hit the on-off switch with a tooth and it stops working.She shakes her head. She tosses it around. She brings it over drops it in my lap to fix for her. I turn it on and she dances around with it.She's a pretty big dog.
