WiltonRed Gel Tube

Arrived quickly and is the perfect product for the cake I'm making.

I've used Wilton gel before. I needed plain red gel - not sparkle and didn't find it in my local store. No worries - I'll order it. About twice the price of what I usually pay for a tube of gel but again, I wanted it for a specific project. AND because I needed it in a hurry - I paid for expedited shipping. The tubes are hilariously small. MUCH smaller than any other tube of Wilton gel I've every used. I haven't tried it yet. I assume it will be the same as the larger tubes. However, I wanted to forewarn anyone expecting the normal sized tube of gel - this isn't it. These little tubes would have about enough to write a message on top of a layer cake. So, if that's all you want, you're good. However, if you need it to decorate a larger project - plan on buying more. Much more. If I'd know how tiny these are vice the price? I would have just used the red sparkle gel that comes in a huge tube for half the price. Totally my fault for being picky about sparkle vs non-sparkle. Tiny tiny tube.

I usually prefer to mix my own icing colors but black is really hard to mix - especially if you need a lot of it. The color was indeed black and not a dark gray looking color. It was easy to use. The only problem I had was that the one tube was not enough for what I was using it for and I had to buy another tube (another brand) from the store. The first time I went to the store they were all out, that is why I purchased this decorating gel. I was disappointed in the store bought item. . . the color was not as black as I wanted. Next time I need black icing I will buy it here and order several and not just one tube.

Rather pricey. No flavor. Easy to use

It works, but it did smudge a bit. I don't notice a taste, but it served it's purpose! I turned a coconut cake into a large Zebra cake!

The black is a light purple and the red is pink, I used the entire tube of each in single 16oz white frostings

Perfect size tube to write something for one cake. It really has no flavor but it’s not a bad thing. It is definitely more for a decorative look.

This yellow was so light I shouldn’t have even bothered. It was almost clear when applied

Brilliant product and it's really hard to get a colour white these days add it to your white chocolate mirror glaze for extra white shine

Buon prodotto, la consistenza è discreta e anche il colore tiene abbastanza bene. Spedito in tempi brevi. La consegna ha impiegato un paio di settimane ma dall'america credo sia un tempo standard.

Il marchio è una garanzia, ottima base per poter creare vari colori. Il prezzo con le dimensioni del tubetto sono in ottimo rapporto, consiglio a tutti

Il prodotto teoricamente sarebbe anche buono. Peccato che ho ricevuto un tubetto scaduto da anni e non lo posso utilizzare, trattandosi di un colorante alimentare. Ho mandato diverse mail all'azienda ma non ho ricevuto alcun riscontro.
