This is a soft brush but not too soft it's a really good brush for smoothing and finishing. Feels good to hold and you don't have to worry about the wood rotting. I wash my brushes often so wood gets weathered fast.

Very soft touch
Quality brush-- I have fine hair that is not plentiful, but with this brush, I need to brush in smaller sections to feel the bristols are penetrating. Ergonomically, some brushes have handles that are too spindly; this one feels comfortable to hold.
