Parker Aster Lacque Black CT Ball Pen

I was looking for a sturdy, good looking pen (not very loud) for daily use and this one fits the bill perfectly. The pen is affordable (Rs.550) and made of metal with a lacque black coating giving it a fine gloss. I chose CT (over GT) because this will not attract unnecessary attention. Pen is perfect to hold, right weight and length and uses Parker jotter ballpoint refill which is easy on pocket too. The click open/close mechanism is very assuring. I have been using it for last 1 week and I am very happy. (I am a big time pen freak and have a good collection of premium pens of different brands and this one is an important possession for me).Highly recommended.

The pen is not new, but a used product. There was ink droplets on the refill tip like a much used pen. The pen didn’t have the usual lustre of a new Pen from Parker. The box in which the item came was very old and torn.

The finish quality is very very bad. I’m not saying the manufacturing defect: but definitely looks used. This is the 2nd pen I got exchanged and previously the same had spring issues.Now the pen itself looks older and the clock function isn’t that easy to operate.
