Seaquest DSV - Season 3 [DVD]

With this purchase I now own all three seasons, and I swear that they missed an episode at the end of season two, the episode that links season two to season three. The previews at the beginning of season three show an episode that I vaguely remember seeing on TV, but it's not part of my season two DVD set. Regardless, it's nice to have the whole series, and the transfer to DVD is just fine (no HDTV when this was first aired). This was such a unique and entertaining series, and so topical and current (like the original Star Trek), but unfortunately, at the same time SO far-fetched that it stretched beyond believably, even in it's original airing, that I'm sure that's what killed it. The special effects were also better in the first two seasons. Shades of the dystopian movie plots that are so common now. There's also huge continuity problem with Piccolo's character in this season, since he doesn't have gills anymore, and that really made his character unique and valuable to the boat when he was first introduced.

I've been looking for this series for soooo long. I first saw parts of Season 3 years ago. I've been looking at stores but could never find it. Season 3 has a all new theme song along with Michael Ironside. After the last couple of episodes of Season 2, I couldn't wait to binge-watch Season 3. I now own the complete series. Here again Amazon came thru with a great price and a great delivery schedule......Amazon even delivered on a Sunday....Totally unbelievable in this day n age. Whats not to LOVE...…..

Very pleased to have an officially released dvd set of season three. Still surprised that after releasing season one and season 2, Universal never released this in the U.S. which would have been region 1. This is an Australian region 4 but it is fully compatable with players in the United States. I just finished watching all 13 episodes on the 4 discs and they all played flawlessly. As someone previously noted it’s a shame this season was cut short as I found the episodes very entertaining.

I was happy to get the final season of seaQuest on DVD to finish my set. The quality of the DVD’s could be better - a bit grainy here and there - still better than VHS video quality; the sound was off and sounded strange until we changed our audio setting to standard then it was good. Overall I am very happy with season 3 - the price not so much so - for 13 episodes - I think it was steep compared to the cost of season 1 and 2. I agree with others that it ended too soon.

I bought Seasons 1 and 2 from my local Best Buy store years ago. Waited for Season 3 to become available on DVD the following year, but it they never released it. And, it looked as if it was never going to be released.But, finally months ago I tried looking for it again on Amazon, and low and behold it was available.I now own the entire series on DVD.

Great cult TV series finally gets bluray treatment. The transfer is decent, but the real joy is that while it states region 4, it actually is region free. Has both the two part cut and the movie cut of the series pilot included.

SeaQuest rose to a higher dramatic level when Michael Ironside took over the helm for 2032. And if the war with Macronesia was not tense enough, check out how the SeaQuest averted nuclear war during the Bay of Pigs in 1962. And this DVD package delivered terrific sound and picture to complete the 3 season collection.

i loved watching this Series in my youth i think these actor's and actresses should be Commended where ever they live or walk putting there life's on doing the take's and shot's they did being the robin hood's this show four three season's but what i would like too no what did they do with the rest of the left over funding too this show when they made the last season after taking the Seaquest in the first episode's out of a farmers Corn field and president born finding out later from one of his Generals.

Série télévisé produite par Steven Spielberg au début des années 90, est une très bonne série de cet époque, avec de bonne vedette qui apparaisse dans certain épisode comme William Shatner, Charlton Heston, de même que les effet spéciaux étaient assez avancés. On y expose les préoccupations environnementales et problèmes sociétales qui sont malheureusement toujours d'actualité. On pourrait faire un parallèle avec Star Trek, a la seul différence c'est qu'ici on est sous l'eau.A voir ou revoir, on regrette qu'il n'y pas de saison 4.

Sea Quest DSV - Staffel 3Manche sagen die dritte Staffel ist eine eigenständige Serie aber ich bin der Meinung diese Staffel gehört zu Staffel 1 und 2.Also die Blue Ray kommt mit einem Schicken Schuber daher worin sich dann die Hülle mit drei Blue Rays befinden.Bild und Tonqualität sind absolut Klasse.Was ich etwas bemängel ist das absolut keine Extras enthalten sind ich meine viele Blue Rays trotzen nur so vor Bonusmaterial aber hier no nix niente das finde ich sehr schade.Die Serie selbst von Steven Spielberg produziert ist eine Meisterleistung des SciFic Genres ich sehe das immer so als Star Trek unter Wasser naja das Super U-Boot Sea Quest ist nicht grade eine Schönheit so wie die Enterprise bei Star Trek aber die Geschichten der serie fesseln mich sehr.Nun Michael Ironside der in dieser Staffel die Führung der Sea Quest Übernimmt als Captain Oliver Hudson war eigentlich nie ein Schauspieler den ich mochte meist spielt er Bösewichte was an seiner Ausstrahlung liegt aber hier spielt er einen erhabenen konsequenten Captain und das steht ihm ganz gut finde ich.Ich fand zwar das Roy Scheider als Nathan Bridger immer die bessere Wahl war weil ok ich bin ein Riesen Fan von Mr Scheider der leider am 10. Februar 2008 in Little Rock, Arkansas verstorben ist.Nun die ganze Crew mit Don Fraklin als Commander Jonathan Ford, Jonathan Brandis als Lukas Wolenczak,Ted Raimi als LT Timothy O,Neill, Stacy haiduck als Lt Commander Katherine Hitchcock die in Staffel Drei nicht dabei ist, Royce D Applegate als Chief Manilow Crocker auch bei Staffel Drei nicht dabei und Stephanie Beacham ebenfalls nicht in Staffel 3 zu sehen Michael DeLuise als Tony Piccolo Kathy Evigson als Lonnie Henderson diese Darsteller sind eine Klasse Truppe die glaubhaft und wirklich gut die Crew der Sea Quest spielt mein Tip wenn schon Sea Quest dann Kommplett schauen.Die Menschheit hat die letzte unerforschte Region bevölkert, den Ozean. Staffel: Captain Oliver Hudson) mit seiner Mannschaft auf große Fahrt.In den Jahren zwischen 1993 und 1996 entstanden drei Staffeln mit 59 Episoden. 第二シーズン最後で異星にシークエストごと誘拐されるというとんでもない展開になってどうなったかが知りたい、ということでしたが、なるほどそう来たか。　本筋はそれからさらに未来ですが、第一シーズンのファンにしてみればちょっとなあ…という話でした。
