In the 2 years we've had these 2 leds have failed in the first year. Contacted them and they immediately sent me replacements. Just recently our power supply failed and took the controller with it but after contacting them about the issue, they immediately sent replacments of them as well. At no cost to me. They even contacted me to make sure as is well after they saw that the replacments were delivered. That shows they actually care if your issues are taken care of. They were easy to talk to and I received my replacements in a day!! Now my deck is looking good again! Thank you!!

I spent a lot of time installing these in my deck. Disappointed that in just over a year the controller failed.

I love these so much! I originally ordered 10 of them for a new porch we just built, and ended up deciding to put more in so I ordered another 30 pack (the leftovers will be going to another project). They wire up super easily, the connections seem very watertight, they install incredibly easily, and they look awesome! We've already had a number of compliments about them from our neighbors. These will install in pretty much any material, and we have them installed in both 2x6 lumber and the cladding material on the stair rises. I used a 1" paddle/spade bit, which was the perfect sized hole: small enough to keep everything tightly in place, big enough to install it without any force. The only reasons these get 4 stars instead of 5: the wifi setup took a few tries to get working (which, in my experience, is pretty common for a lot of smart home devices that aren't made by the big companies), and some of the color reproduction isn't perfect. Red, blue, and green all look great, some secondary colors like purple/violet look great, and others like yellow/orange don't match up that well. Certainly not a deal breaker considering these are good quality, easy to use, and work via the app, along with Google Assistant and Alexa.

wrote the seller several times, no response the wifi is intermittent and remote has to be so close I might as well attach it to the receiver. when functioning the lights are great but I hesitate to show them off because it only works when it wants to. tried on iphone and android. tried on 5hz and 2.5 hz wifi neither are stable. The receiver is feet away from my router, I even replaced it thinking it may be the issue. really wish there was a way to get the system more stable instructions are not current with the current app on phone. one star at best for the fact they do work with the remote but not what I paid for.

We previously ordered 2 sets, and now that we've extended our deck, a third pack is on the way. We've placed these around our entire deck (along the upper railing and on each of the stairs) and it makes everything pop. They're pretty easy to install and the color change/ dimming options make it even better. The colors are great for the holidays! We did have some trouble with our initial setup and the wifi connection but their customer service was on it! They very patiently walked us through every step to connect and even provided a new controller when the other one wouldn't work on our network. We highly recommend this brand/company.

I absolutely love these lights! Great addition to my 8ft. grand entry. It is still in the completion phase but I couldn't wait to show these off. If you're thinking of adding a little extra pop to your place, this is what you've been looking for. Comes with this awesome color changing remote! Will purchase again. Quick shipping and easy to install. Does take a 1" hole bit not included.

Update- I have 3 sets of this brand of LED lights in and around my deck. These lose 'connection' to Wifi for no apparent reason, and when this happens, they go into a very annoying RGB flashing sequence. Which happens monthly. OK, fine, but it can take DAYS of attempts to get these to reconnect. Hours of frustration. Is it the Magic Home app or the controllers? Do yourself a favor, buy another brand. Orig Review (2022): It took three tries for me to get a set that gives a warm white setting. Reviews seem to be for different products. My set is the option, "30pcs , Rgbw (Wifi Controller)" and does a nice warm white. These are small, not very bright. I used them to highlight deck steps and decorative uprights at the bottom of each rail post. I power them via a landscape transformer. For holidays, the ability to change colors is fun!
