The Final Boss of Power Banks
Stop researching, this is the one you need. I bought this in 2019 and 7 years later it is STILL the best power bank I own. It has easily outperformed and outlived every single other battery I've purchased. It is built like a tank and it holds a charge when it's not being used. I've gone MONTHS without using it and have been dumbfounded to see it still has 75-100% of the charge. I swear this is the last good power bank ever made, all these new sleek ones with led displays leak power like crazy. Don't waste your money, just buy this beast and use USB-A to USB-C cables to charge your newer devices. I've used this abomination for weeks of travel, charging all my mobile devices, and for heavy use during video and film production. It powered camera accessories like my DJI focus puller, a Tentacle time sync device, an iPad mini, and also doubled as a counter weight on the same camera rig! It's even recharged two battery-powered tube lights during a power outage that lasted for days. This is the ultimate end-game power brick. Don't let the weight faze you, let it comfort you. I'm gonna order another one for my doomsday bug out kit, because at this rate, this thing is gonna outlive modern day society, and worse come to worse, put this rock in a zip-loc and a sock and start swinging, baby. I bet you it'll still charge my tube lights once I wipe the zombie brains off.

Great Power Bank!
So far it’s great. Long life and works just like sated. It is a bit heavy but ability to charge 3 devices at once, fast recharge and amount of time between recharge is well worth it! Still haven’t recharged and I charge 3 device 4-5 times a week from this power bank.

Seems like an essential piece of equipment to have
Updated review: Upgrading to five stars after an obviously new replacement item arrived extremely quickly, in a day or two. I think the thing itself is great. It does charge slowly, as many have noted, but seems to hold its charge very well once charged up. (To charge it, I used both cables and left it overnight.) I plugged my phone into it during a drive of 2.5 hours and found once I reached my destination that my phone was charged up to some extent, though not all the way; but again, others have pointed out that this battery will not charge a phone (or whatever) as fast as a wall socket will. It did what I wanted it to, which was make sure I wouldn't find myself in the middle of nowhere with a dead phone, and at the end of the trip, the battery still had four lights lit. (One curious note: My sister bought this same battery--same brand, same 26,800--some time ago and hers is noticeably smaller than mine. You'd think they'd be getting smaller rather than bigger, but maybe it's about preserving the price point or something. So mine is rather large, but not problematically so.) Original one-star review: Paid for a new one, received a used one. The tape that would have been sealing the box closed had already been slit open, and the item itself was scuffed.

The fit & finish of their products are excellent, much attention is paid to detail on their ...
I own several Anker portable chargers, including one of their original, glossy white 15000 milliamp hour battery packs which is still in pristine shape. I used them for a variety of things including a 5 volt source for portable lighting and recharging needs when I am out stargazing in the middle of the desert without any alternate power sources nearby. The fit & finish of their products are excellent, much attention is paid to detail on their products. They have always worked well for me, until that is I recently bought the 26800 Powercore. When I received it, the item was securely packaged and well-protected. All the accessories were neatly bundled and stored in the Box. The battery pack showed 75%, and I proceeded to charge my phone and two tablets. The storage capacity on this is excellent, at least that part I have been able to use so far. The problem is, once I drained the power core and tried to recharge it, the indicator lights stop at the halfway mark and just flash without proceeding to show a full battery. I tried draining it a second time, and then recharging it again but to no avail. Putting a meter on the cables, I show that when it gets to the halfway mark it stops drawing any current whatsoever. I don't understand why and I'm not sure if there is a reset button or a way to reset the unit at all. I have tried alternate Chargers and cables with the same result. This must be a defective unit. I'm hoping this is just a fluke because it's a new battery pack and might need to be broken in. All my experiences with this company in the past have been excellent in their product quality and customer service so I'm hoping this time will be no different. I will update this review once I get this problem sorted out either way. *UPDATE 12/20* *I originally rated this item at one star due to a problem with it not recharging past the halfway mark. Since the review and my contact from Anker,, I have changed it to five stars.* This update is About a Week overdue, so I apologize. Anker contacted me a few days after my original review to help me troubleshoot the problem. In short order, they surmised that the unit was defective, as is to be expected with any company producing the number and volume of products that they do. They immediately shipped out a replacement, which I received very quickly. I had to use the unit to charge my phone and tablet until it was depleted, then recharged it and depleted it again. Both the slow charge and dual Port Quick Charge work flawlessly and as advertised. The wonderful detail I love about this particular item is the option to use both input ports to completely recharge the item in just over 6 hours which is quite impressive for a portable recharger of this size and capacity. Anker is one of the few companies producing the range of products that they do, with the intrinsic detail-oriented customer service that they manage to provide. I would definitely recommend this company and their products for any item they make which might fit your needs. Thank you very very much!

Best charger I've had.
I purchased this in November 2021. The quality of the one I got was exceptional. Its still working, always being used, my son liked it so much he took over it 2 years ago and he uses it to charge his devices on long shifts... it's used porbably 3-5 times a week. It's still in good shape, good durabilty and chargingcapabilityhas not gone down. Yes, it's a little on the heavy side but other than that, we don't have any other issues or setbacks. Compact and fits in a backpack or purse. I'm thinking of getting another one soon for my other child.

A great battery with just 1 issue...
The Good: Has 3 USB ports that provide up to 3 amps per port at a max of 6amps between all 3 ports. (6a6a / 2a2a2a) Has 2 USB ports for fast charging of the powerbank. Lots of power that can keep your phone going all day long no matter what you are doing on your mobile phone. The Bad: Uses 2 Micro B USB ports to charge instead of USB 3.0. This means you will be carrying around additional USB cables. Requires a dual port 3+ amp USB power brick if you want to take advantage of the faster charging. If not, then this will take over 13hrs to fully charge. My Thoughts: I wish Anker would get with the times and replace those 2 USB Micro B charging ports with 3.0 so I could use my phones charging cable to charge the powerbank with. Other than that, I have no other complaints about this product. It has served me well for over a year and I would buy it again should this one die out.

A mighty charging power bank
I love my new power bank! Oh I do! It's sleek, smooth, naturally portable, durable, reliable and I am enjoying a freedom from hunting for outlets at the airport, at a large conference gathering, or needing to adapt to less-than-comfortable wall outlets in a hotel room simply because my 10' charging cable is still too short to reach my laptop. While at the home front, I can go camping or hiking knowing I will not run out of power for six months between charges!! That's incredible!! I've seen the comments on how long it takes to charge the power bank and I admit, I did hesitate to buy it, but I'm so glad I went through with it! When I received my new Anker power core, the instructions clearly stated to use attach both charging cables that came with the Anker power core, into a multi-connection wall charger. The power bank came with almost a 50% charge capacity and that was pretty pleasing to me already. I decided to see how long it took to reach each cell level (there are 4 indicator lights that blink until that cell "fills up" before moving on to the next flashing indicator light.) To move from 25% to 50% took 20 minutes. To move from 50% to 75% took 3hrs, and to move from 75% to 100% took 3.5hrs, totaling 6hrs 50min. In other words, or charged up overnight and this charge will last 6 months. Would you wait 8 hours to charge your Anker power core on two charging cables twice a year? 😏 Right! I would too! I also love the light carrying pouch that comes with the power bank. It's smooth curves make it easy to carry and won't harm your bag or even your hands with sharp boxy edges. It's a great joy to me to have this kind of charging freedom. I can even charge my phone and laptop at the same time! Or charge my tablet and laptop. If I was to play devil's advocate, I would first have to see how the power bank performs with different cables, if it can charge my laptop faster, for instance. If this product gets upgraded to include a fast charging port or even 3 ports I'll be buying that one as well. This is a great product.

Powerhouse Package
I purchased this power block to replace a heavier / larger 16000mAH power block. I'm very impressed with its form factor (rounded edges) and compact size, all hiding a powerful USB charger with intelligent charging ports. Besides its power capabilities, the fact that it can be quickly recharged and ready to go more quickly, was a big selling point for me. While I know that other reviews fuss that it does Not include a charging wall adapter, I understand that Anker assumes with this product purchase, that you most likely already have several of them anyhow. It should be noted that if you do intend to purchase this power block, go ahead and order a multiport wall adapter with high wattage output [less than $20], most of which now offer intelligent port control... better yet, get a newer Anker wall adapter that offer power in compact form factor. There is no Power On/off switch on these units; only a battery level indicator for stored energy level. Simply plug into the USB and the smart ports will detect the connected device and charge it based on the device needs. When charging is complete, the power block will stop charging and not over-charge the connected device...sweet! The only thing I dislike a bit is the Micro USB ports used to recharge the block. I assume their design intent was to keep it very compact, but I'd wish the mfg. would get away from micro and move to Type-C ports [as I would accept the size trade off], besides afer awhile; those micro USB ports start to wear out. Another thing to note; when you push in your USB plug into the block, be sure that its seatted 'All the Way', not at the initial resistance. The power block indicators will light up but that will not indicate that the port is "truly" charging. Have the device side connected first, then plug into the power block... as the intelligent ports will detect the device charging needs THEN begin charging. Check your device to see if it shows the charging 'lightning-bolt'... if not unplug from power block, the re-plug back into the port - fully seating the USB plug. Charging should begin. That's it! I purchased a separate travel case for storage of block/cords/ wall adapter, but I use the nice little padded mesh bag for daily use and to keep the Anker Power block protected. Great purchase and benefit. Thank you Anker. P.S. Anker portable speakers are also amazing little power houses too.
