This gauge works perfectly!! It has the perfect amount of damping so it doesn't freely "bounce around" when my truck is in motion and is always accurate to within <1 degree when stopped . I tried two others off of Amazon. The electronic one was completely unreadable when in motion. The other was a mechanical one with "damping" that had too much damping so was always about 5 degrees off when my truck was stopped.

I have used the inclinometer now for over a year and it has held up well. It is a simple design and can be mounted easily wherever it has to be. The accuracy is good and the movement is free and also adjustable. I have another that has been mounted for several years and has been heat warped at the top from the internal light. That was a bit dissapointing even though the movement was not affected, but for the price I am not discouraged from sticking with this specific product. Smittybilt has always, in my opinion, produced good offroad products for a very competitive price. I have a number of other products and have been very satisfied with all.

You get what you pay for. Not bad for the price but I may buy a better one, I had to take it apart and adjust it before I could use it. Roll axis was way off leaning to the left. It was a simple adjustment after I opened it up.

Little big, but works for me.

its something fun to have. When offroading, it bounces around a ton and the numbers/lines stop far before you get close to flipping (at least in my jeep). Also, this whole unit swivels on the stand it comes with, so if you touch it, the fore/aft zero is thrown off. which is fine if you're driving to the mall. But not out in the sticks where you're almost never on level ground. Basically, this is something cool to look at. It doesn't do anything for offroading though, I took mine off after a couple trips to Mt.Ranier.

works well, there's a reason to have one, trust the gauge once leveled, don't push it, they don't call it a roll over gauge for nothing, trust me, it doesn't lie

This was the second one of these I’ve bought. The first one I had had the cheesy graphic of the jeep that looks funny and silly. The box and the picture above now shows a graphic that looks more like an actual jeep. I bought it just to get the better looking graphic. Unfortunately when I received it it’s not as pictured. They sent the same unit I had with the dopey looking jeep picture on it
