This is a great umbrella. When close it looks like a standard size umbrella. However when you open it, it is quite large. Open people when joke about its size. After a year of use in heavy wind condition (living right next the shores), it still functioning.Only reason I took a star away was because when try to open it, it doesn't go all the way automatically. I have to give a little push to fully open it.

I bought this umbrella made by Tote Isotoner through Amazon. I used it for the first time in moderate rain on my vacation in Istanbul Turkey several month after I purchased it. After a few minutes in rain, water started dripping through the material.It was almost funny. It did not handle the wind well either. Contacting Amazon they provided me with Tote Isotoner phone number, the supplier of this umbrella. If you listed everything that a company can do wrong responding to a customer complaint you would be describing Tote Isotoner. Their rudeness, arrogance, not listening, and not accepting any responsibility for the defects in their umbrella to name a few. Don't buy from Tote Isotoner if you want your item to work properly and you expect professional customer service. Amazon as a curtesy has accepted to refund me for the umbrella.

I bought this umbrella because the reviews on many of the other umbrellas on Amazon were dismal. Some didn't work correctly or broke right away. Mine arrived today and looks great, nice large size open, opens and closes with push of a button. PLUS IT COMES WITH A LIFETIME GUARANTEE THAT NOBODY MENTIONED-- just send it back with $5 for shipping and they will send you a new one, no need for proof of purchase, even.. It is supposed to rain tomorrow so if it doesn't keep me dry I will update my review.

Big size umbrella folding into smaller size sounded like a great idea. It would be much nicer if they have a vent considering its size, however, I think it is not possible given the structure.

Heavy duty umbrella. Well worth spending twice as much on this good umbrella that will last ten times as long as a cheap one. The up/down button is excellent and very convenient. Note that the "down" is really a "collapse" though and will still need pulled back to the handle afterwards (as with any down-button); or if you have trouble pulling it down, just push the top on the ground until it clicks. Strongly recommend.

This is pretty flimsy. Also doesn't have a carrying case, so when it is wet it drips everywhere unless you bring it in a grocery bag or something which looks tacky. But it is huge!

Love the large size. Not the most durable, however. Hinge broke. Will have to contact TOTES for replacement.

This was exactly the umbrella I was hoping it would be! I used to buy these slightly oversized umbrellas at the Totes outlets, all of which seem to have gone out of business. I was thrilled to find them online; I keep one in my car at all times. I highly recommend this product.

You get what you paid for. This umbrella is ok for the price I paid $22 on sale and should not be more than that, as the matter of fact, it should be in my opinion no more than $15. Totes is always my choice of umbrellas but they have better ones which I also own. I wish it was made more solid as it feels flimsy.
