I am a fan of the show and their products myself and enjoy watching a show that revolves around faith and family and not drunken drama filled reality nonsense. Like in the Scripture above the important thing is to spread the word of christ with the world. Whether you like the Robertsons or not the importance of their success is to speak the word and inspire, so fans that have never even considered owning a bible might be brought closer to the lords word and if even one person is saved then the Robertsons have done their job. So to all those that call the Robertsons "fake christians" I am sure they forgive you and still love you, but you may want to re-evaluate your position on the Robertsons before you judge someone elses faith. Just wanted to put my two cents in lol...but I enjoyed reading this bible and the way the Robertsons break it down, other reviewers already commented and explained the layout of this bible which is something you have to see for yourself to appreciate it, but I am sure all will enjoy the extras throughout this bible. I hope you all enjoy.

I'm so blessed and thankful to have found this Bible. My wife decided to get this for me for Christmas this year. It was very hard to find, but thanks to this Christian book store we got an opportunity of a lifetime!! Highly recommend this company!! There's no price on God's word in our family. The quality is fantastic! The design is beautiful and it fits into your standard Bible cover. I must say one of my favorite things about this version of the Bible is the stories Phil and Al tell. I read my Bible everyday and each day when it was time for me to dive in to the beautiful words of the Bible I would start off with one of the stories. I hope this family continues to come out with books about their faith because every single book I have read from the Robertson family has been wonderful!

NKJV is great but with the Duck Dynasty guys, it's fantastic. Nice stories, and spiritual insights.

I recently purchased this Bible. I am a seminary trained, experienced ordained minister. Yet with years of experience preaching and teaching, I found this material by the Richardson's to be refreshing in terms of application of the gospel to life and evangelism. The material is down to earth, authentic and applicable to real life where people live. Sometimes ministers can hide in their ivory church tower and not see the gospel for the powerful force it is. This work helps to move a person out of that rut. This is great Bible for personal application and a reminder of what the power of the gospel is all about.

Nice addition to my Duck Commander collection. Really like the format, the stories and the devotional messages scattered through out the Bible. I've done most of my study in the KJV, then the NIV for the past 20 years and really want to get into both the NKJV and the NET translations. I'm planning on doing my 4th full read of the Bible in this one this year and then follow-up with a read through next year in the NET. I still find myself doing studies out of my NIV but I'm pretty sure that's because it's familiar to me and I know where everything is in it. As you can probably tell, I don't get too caught up in translations since I try to use Strongs to see why certain passages where translated one way versus another.

I truly like the television show because it represents my values. In a country where our government and the press seem to belittle and attack Christians daily, this bible seemed a perfect fit. The bible is nicely boxed, well made and can be nicely displayed without shoving your religious views upon your guests. It features personal failings of people and the reflections found in the bible needed to overcome or at least, to deal with them. It reminds us others are also in pain and are dealing with the unfairness of life. It is an easy and pleasant read. When the television show eventually fads from the scene it will remind me I am not alone.
