This product is WONDERFUL!! I have been using it under my desk chair and it has make such a difference in how I feel after sitting for an extended period of time. I used to have a lot of back pain after sitting for a short while, but when I use the foot pillow, my body is aligned correctly and there is no pain! The firmness is just right and the quality of the product is impressive. It also works with many chairs in our home. In fact, when I sit down anywhere, my feet are "looking" for my foot pillow! Now my body is used to sitting correctly, and it WANTS to sit that way. This product is well worth the price, especially when it can make such an impact on overall well being!

I'm only 5' tall, so I always need a foot rest underneath my desk for comfort i sitting back in my chair properly. I've tried many different types of foot stools, foot stools with a flattened pillow on top, specialty foot rests that you can adjust the tilts, etc., but this is like a miracle FIRM foam that never looses its memory. It also has a nubby, soothing foot massage type covering that zips off and can be washed. As a barefoot person (yes, even under my desk) this is by far the most comfortable foot rest ever. You won't be disappointed in this - I promise!

I love the cushioned foot rest. Following a recent ankle injury it gives my foot the support needed to alleviate stress on my ankle. Also love that it can be turned over to use for exercising my ankle during the day. I am concerned that the covering fabric will not be durable when using it while wearing shoes which is why I only give it 4 stars. For the price it seems to be a great product so far.

My diminutive 95 year old mother loves this cushion footrest ! One of her nicest, prettiest, most comfortable chairs was rarely used -- at least by her. Because of this footrest, that chair is becoming her favorite place to sit. She has always been very particular about how things "look", so I was a bit hesitant to offer her this black, utilitarian cushion. Not to worry. (The pretty little wooden leg footrest now lives in the closet.) The comfort and practicality of this footrest has entirely won her over. A winner !

I was a bit concerned because some people in reviews said it was too soft, but I have not found it to be so. I have it under my desk because I have short legs and this has been perfect for me. I can get my chair at the right height for my keyboard and still have my feet comfortable. It did have quite a chemically smell at first, but it's been about a month now and I don't notice it anymore. I did put it outside for awhile when I first got it and through a couple cycles in the dryer to try to remove that harsh odor. The zip case is nice and soft. And it has little rubber knobs on the bottom to keep it from slipping, but it still moves easily when you need it to. Very happy with my purchase.

I'm 5' 9" and a lot of chairs and desks are designed for taller people, so I'm constantly having to get various ergonomic add-ons to make things work for me. I had a foam footrest similar to this one that I really liked, but I recently got a new desk and chair and my old footrest is now too short. So I got this one to try. I like the curvy wedge shape, because I can easily put my feet in different positions and at different heights. Having the zipper on the upper edge is a good design choice so that the zipper isn't damaged during use. The cover feels nice on bare feet and stays pretty well on my office floor (low pile carpet). The only thing I don't like is that the foam is soft and squishy. Because of that, I don't expect this to last very long. If the foam were harder, this would be just about perfect for me.

I am pretty short @ 5'2" and always have trouble sitting at my desk because of the pressure on the back of my legs. I do not use this by itself because it doesn't raise my feet high enough. But I have done is put it on top of another foot rest that tilts at different angles. Between the 2 pieces, I am so much more comfortable. I can easily move this piece around depending on which way I'm sitting. It has little raised bumps on it as well that are very nice on the bottoms of my feet. It did have a chemical smell for the first week, but has totally disappeared now. I love it and would recommend it to anyone. I received my foot rest a few weeks ago. I don't know how I lived without it! This rest helps alleviate some of my back pain when sitting at my office desk for hours and hours. It helps align your spine and take some of the pressure off. The material is very comfortable. In addition, this foot rest is higher than most, which helps a tall guy like me, get into a comfortable hip position. Highly Recommend for ANYONE who sits for long periods of time!!!

This item is too short to really make much of a difference. I don't see how much of an improvement this is over a simple firm cushion or even pillow. Well overpriced for what it is. Also as others have mentioned there is a strong chemically smell coming from it, but it's even worse: ** It seems to cause a slight burning on my feet when I don't wear shoes. I am afraid to even use it. I would avoid it!

This item arrived right on time. When I opened it, I thought it looked quite low, and wouldn't work, however I was wrong. Have been using the foot rest for a couple of weeks now, and swelling of the feet has lessened day by day
