A pretty nice collection of bike rides
We are road cyclists so we don't have any use for the mountain biking half of the rides in the book. Of the remaining road rides, most will be fairly obvious to long-distance pedalers in the area but it's good to have a few additional ideas. Good directions and maps. We've enjoyed the few rides that we tried.Check out the book of short bike rides in and around San Francisco by Henry Kingman as well.

Comprehensive and well-written
I have purchased a lot of bike guidebooks, and the Moon series consistently have the best maps, local info, descriptions and ratings. This guide is no exception. I have only ridden a couple of the trails so far, but I was well prepared for them and found my way with this guide. I wish Moon would offer a guide to the Wasatch Front in Utah where I live.

It's a changing world!
Book is okay. I think that this may be the last cycling book that I buy. Nothing against this book. but ALL cycling books. The routes change, conditions change and books just can't keep up. I found that the best way to find out about rides is to check out the websites of local cycling clubs and to visit local bike shops- the information is more current.
