Swiss Madison SM-1T108 Monaco One Piece Elongated Dual 0.8/1.28 GPF Flush Toilet with Soft Closing Seat

Wife really like this toilet for whatever reason. The first one came really banged up after UPS dropped it off on my driveway. After opening it up, it's no surprise that it's in hundreds of pieces. Had to contact Amazon and ordered a replacement, which was a breeze. Had also contacted UPS to get it picked up as it's 100 lbs, and it would be pretty difficult to haul it to a UPS store for a drop off.Second one came a few days later via UPS, and a visual inspection didn't find any issues, so I thought we were good this time. As my contractor wasn't able to install the toilet until much later, it was sitting in my garage for more than a month. Installation was smooth, but after flushing it a few times, it started to leak from underneath the toilet where some kind of clay was used to bond various parts of the toilet to make it into a single piece. My contractor said he couldn't do much to fix this kind of issue was the toilet itself is defective. He could put some adhesive onto it, but it will start leaking a few years later, so he wouldn't suggested doing it. So, I contacted Amazon again to get another replacement. As it was outside of the 30 day return window, I thought it was really great of them to get me another replacement. The Amazon representative even asked if I wanted to order a different brand / model as this one tends to leak, and stupidly I thought third time would be the charm, so I went ahead and asked him to send me another one.The replacement came a few days later via UPS again. It was placed on my drive way up side down, so my heart sank when I saw it. Unfortunately for us, it was again broken upon opening the box. This time, I told Amazon that I wanted a refund and I'd just buy something from a local store.In summary, I don't think the toilet itself deserves a 1 star, it's given mostly due to them using UPS to do the delivery as 2 out of 3 times, it was delivered to us in pieces. The one time it was not in pieces, I'm suspecting the leak might have been introduced during delivery. I ordered much larger and heavier items via Amazon, which were all delivered in one piece, but they all used professional freight delivery companies, i.e., the ones who knock on your door and ask you to sign a paper when the delivery is made. UPS, on the other hand, just drop off items and leave and can care less if the item is labeled fragile and has to be the right side up. For smaller and non-fragile items, UPS is great, but for larger and fragile items, they just don't have the right equipment, personnel, and process to do the job.

I love the look of this so much, I researched to find the perfect toilet in my new house to go with my fancy new tub. However, it first arrived broken. Thankfully Amazon did replace. When the new one arrived it was difficult to set. It is also a bit tough to clean, the interior has strange shapes, but doable. However... it has a clog right now and the shapes are not allowing the plunger to seal and do it's job. At the moment trying to figure out how to plunge it. I really love the look of this, but it is not easy.

We are remodeling both of our bathrooms and when it was time to open up the box of the toilet for the 2nd bathroom we found the toilet broken into many pieces. The unfortunate thing is by the time we were ready for this toilet to be installed, we had passed the return date. I would rethink shipping something this fragile across the country just to save a few bucks. I didn't work out for us.

I've had it a few months now and still love it's modern look. Mine did fit into a 11.5" rough in. The bolts are a bit hard to get to but that was the only part of the installation that was difficult.It's a great toilet for a small bathroom! Well worth the money.

Dual flush works great. Nuce styling, saves an inch or two on width which we needed. Getting to connections in back is tough

Just awful. It’s leaking every time we flush ....piece of rubbish

This was delivered 4 weeks ago and we just unpacked it to install and the base is broken

Want to say thank you for all people were involved with this item from shipping company to Fedex guy.I got my toilet without any damages & works great,well done.I ordered my first toilet from other company after waiting for almost 2 week got my toilet in thousands pieces because the cover the toilet with thin plastic.Again thanks everybody,
