Do not buy these tires. Tread gone in a year.

Do not buy these tires. Severe chunking of tire tread.
These Goodyear run flat tires were factory installs. The two back tires were wearing normally but the two front tires had severe chunking meaning that pieces of the tire rubber were just flaking off all across the tread surface from the inside to the outside. Alignment was checked and the car was fully in alignment. Even though there was 2-3/32's of wear left to the wear bars the two front tires were dangerous due to the large chunks of rubber missing from the tread. In addition, the ride on these run flats made my Audi Q7 ride like a one ton pick up truck even on the "comfort" suspension setting. Goodyear would not warrant the chunking problem. Just installed Kumo All Season 275/45R20's on the car and the ride quality improved dramatically. Will have to wait to see if the chunking problem still exists. Tire retailer said they had seen this chunking problem before on these Goodyears mounted on the Q7. This may be why the factory was later installing the Perelli's as the factory tires.
