I purchased the single Tatami mat to support my Fuli futon. The mat is excellent, folding neatly and providing a slight 'give' and authentic feel (and aroma). You will buy this quality item once only, so do not fret about cost. Excellent service from Emoor.

I’d been looking for a mat for a while and came across this one. I read the reviews first. So simple to put out and stores easily as it folds. Made well in the traditional manner and smells fresh. Don’t expect this to be as thick or as comfy as permanent tatami but it’s a good UK option. The straw looks lovely. A bit more expensive than I’d have liked but I’m sure it will be money we’ll spend in the long run. Remember only bare feet or socks no slippers or outdoor shoes.

Ich schlafe auf dieser Tatami-Matte seit ca. 6 Monaten. Anfangs roch sie etwas nach Gras, was aber völlig normal ist, da sie auch daraus hergestellt wird. Ich stelle die Matte nach dem Aufstehen wie ein Buch auf und kippe die Fenster nach oben – das hilft beim Lüften und Trocknen. Nach ein paar Wochen war der Geruch komplett weg. Die Härte empfinde ich als angenehm. Vorher habe ich direkt auf dem Boden geschlafen, was im Winter allerdings zu kalt war. Mit der Tatami ist es viel besser, und sie spart zusätzlich noch Platz. Insgesamt sehr zufrieden!

Love it, it's like a real tatami. The smell was strong in the first few days, but I like it, it smells similar to matcha. I only wish the non slip bottom was more effective because everytime I get up it moves (I have two of them side by side)

Exactly as described, smells great, is very sturdy... would highly recommend!
