I like that it does it's job! It holds my door open from the kitchen to the garage. It is a heavier door and on a hinge spring, as per code in our state. It really is my buddy in getting the groceries into the house! What could be better, the magnet could stand to be a bit stronger. I feel like it comes away too easily. However, I do have some sweatshirts hanging behind the door, so this may the issue. All in all, one of my favorite things I have discovered!

I use it to stop my Roomba from bumping the door shut and locking itself in the bathroom and it totally works. I suspect the bad reviews are from folks using it for something heftier than a household door. The magnet is a little stronger than I expected, to the point that guests might think the door is somehow stuck or locked open. also, it acts like a little shock absorber spring when the magnet catches the door and I think that's a higher quality feature that makes sure the magnet gets caught instead of bouncing back away. I'll be buying more of these if my roomba starts locking itself in other rooms.

There were no instructions included, which isn’t a big deal as it’s not hard to figure it out. However, in the smaller part that the magnetic ball part fits into, I had some difficulty with it. I couldn’t get the two parts unscrewed from each other so that I could screw it to the door and reattach them. They were really jammed together and it took quite a while and much leverage to get them I jammed and unscrewed from each other. Other than that it was easy enough and quick to install. The magnets don’t catch every time, but it’s not bad.

Good product works great and easy to install

This magnetic doorstop is AWESOME!! I've put them on all my doors!! They are more stylish than the rubber ones, but not only do they prevent the door from hitting and damaging the wall, but they keep the door in that open position with a grabs on contact sturdy magnet so that a breeze from the window on the room doesn't blow the door closed - that's what I love!! Also, it allows a few inches between the wall and where the door actually stops so that I can hang a picture on my wall, part of which extends behind the bathroom door when open without the back of the door hitting the picture. Happy with this purchase!!

I had previously purchased very similar door stops from a local hardware supply store. They were great. I mean it even takes a little effort to get them to release when pulling on the door, to the point that sometimes the door vibrates a bit in your hand from the recoil. You could even practically slam the door towards the stop and it would catch and hold the door. This brand of brand of door stop that I purchased here on Amazon is weak sauce in comparison. You have to lightly push the door up to the stop. If you let it bounce at all, under the power of its own spring mind you, it won't catch and hold. It will still work though, so that part is only slightly annoying. My issue is that I bought this one for my office door, which I have a coat rack on the back of. If I have anything thicker than a hoodie on there the door stop can't keep the door closed due to the slight pressure of the coat hitting the wall. Suffice to say I am going to try grabbing another one from the local hardware supply store and hope it is as good as the ones I have purchased in the past. I would not buy this brand again.

Bathroom door is not properly hung so keeps closing when it is needed to stay open. This item is a diy solution. Inexpensive. Easy to install. Does the job.

achei que o produto iria funcionar, mas a porta fechou facilmente no primeiro vento que surgiu. Só não devolvi pq instalei depois do prazo de devolução e mesmo sem ele funcionar não pude devolver pela falha do produto.

My bathroom door will not stay open so I would use the garbage can to prop it but it was inconvenient, I came across this product and so glad I ordered it. It was easy to install, looks great and works amazing. I love it. The one piece broke out of the package during shipping, but nothing was missing or broken.
