iPhone 17 Commuter Series Case - Black

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Title: Great Protection and Perfect Fit Review: This OtterBox case fits my phone perfectly and feels very sturdy. It provides great protection without making the phone feel too bulky. The buttons are easy to press, the case has a nice grip, and it feels durable and well made. I’m very happy with the quality and would definitely recommend it.

Fits perfect on my IPhone 17 Pro Max. Has a good textured feel and grip so less likely to slip and slide like those smooth cases. I had one of these cases for my IPhone 13 and it held up so well I got one for my 17. Love the port protector. I can’t comment too much on dropping from more than about 3 or 4 feet but the few times I did drop it from that height it protected my phone well (I had a screen protector so that helped). The case has a small lip along the edges, I guess to help protect from face-first drops because that’s what it did for me. With the case on my 13 I noticed it retained and built heat during wireless charging, especially if the screen was on or if there was a program running. I mean, that could be more of a phone issue, but with the case on, it did hold the heat in a bit more. I would definitely recommend this Otterbox case though.

I have a bad case of the drops. I have to keep a screen protector and a durable case on my phone at all times to avoid any real damage. I tried many Amazon cases and nothing compares to this case. I’ve been using otterbox brand for years and they never disappoint. I have an iPhone 17 air it has a camera that sticks out from the phone making it more prone to shatter. The other cases I used before this one all left my screen protector completely shattered after a week or two (again I drop my phone often). I got this case months ago and haven’t even cracked my screen protector once. Full coverage all around. So worth the money.

Absolutely fantastic! The Otterbox case fits amazingly precisely including the buttons which on the iPhone Air are flush with the side of the phone and practically impossible to feel. The texture of the case is easy to hold but not so rough that it resists going into my pocket or pack. I liked the review video that showed the phone inside the case being bounced off a table without distress and adhering to the magnetic charger with ease. When you press the edges you can feel the protective give that the internal liner provides.

I've been a log time user of Otterbox phone cases and when I bought a new iphone 17 Pro Max, I decided to get another one. My previous iphone, (a 12 Pro Max) had an Otterbox Commuter series case, and it help up pretty well over the past five years. The only minor issue being that the lightning port cover eventually broke off after a few years, but the case protected my phone without issue. This case is similar, the only minor quibble I have is that it's a bit too lose around the top half of the phone around where the buttons for the volume are. The lower half of the phone has some plastic reinforcement on the sides which makes for snugger fit. The color availability matches the colors that the iphone 17 pro max comes it, which is nice. Otterboxes aren't cheap, and this one is no exception. This was a $45 case, and it's not even one of their higher end cases. When you look at the materials involved in it's construction, it's really difficult to justify the price IMHO, especially when competitors have similar cases for less money. To me this seems more like a $30 case.

An excellent case, protects the camera lenses, which some older versions did not. The commuter is the perfect balance for most users between the "armored" cases and "vanity only" cases. The case texture is just right. The mag-safe strength is excellent. I like the charge port cover, you have to get that in the right place to get the case to go on correctly, but once on, I got used to it quickly and it's a sturdier mechanism than I expected.

My husband loves the grip the sides and the hard material of the back, he loves that he is still able to use magnetic charging and doesn’t get in the way of any front or back camera screen protectors. Recommend if you want a nice slim feel and look!

Great and durable case! Saves my phone all day every day. 1 start off because over time the rubber part does wear down a bit. It be nice if you could get just the rubber replaced! Otherwise a perfect case that offers shock absorption and a hard shell. Make sure you get screen and lenses protection!
