Impressive item at a good price.
Arrived promptly with a fitted battery and two spares. A surprisingly good product at that £6 price point. It was advertised as stainless steel, but actually is “stainless steel effect” on a plastic ish base. Not complaining though as it looks and performs above expectations.

Not Stainless steel as advertised
The product packaging correctly declares this product is a carbon fibre composite not stainless steel as Amazon advertise it. Therefore some consider it a cheap and flimsy product, but it actually works well but is unlikely to last if in constant daily use or abused.

Very hard to get it to do an accurate reading
It’s cheap as chips, so hard to complain, however, it’s very difficult to get it to do an accurate reading, keeps coming up with obviously wrong measurementsTried it on a 1.5 mm squared wire, that’s 1.3mm diameter according to a chart online, best I managed to get was a reading of 1.2mm diameter.Think it was accurate for my new 99.99% pure 2.5mm diameter copper wire I bought to make hi end speaker cable, .Using a tape measure showed it wasn’t 2.5mm only about 2.00mmThis gadget showed 2.3mm diameter.So I think that’s correct, and the Chinese company lied that produced the wire.

Great and easy to use
I use this for modelling my 3D prints and am not very good with standard measuring tapes. This is fool proof.

Good value for money, does exactly what it’s made for, fast deivery
