Liqui moly is a premium brand with tons of vehicle specific oils and not being one to chance things the fact this has the specific Volvo approved spec it is a no brainer. Oddly the dealer will not sell “Volvo” oil (they want $33 for an oil filter!?!?) so this is the only one I can find that’s is approved. Not offering part/fluid to the consumer and gouging them on service parts is an odd business strategy that makes me question if I wound purchase another one. With the dealer wanting $200 for an oil change I will be buying this every 5k miles and a premium aftermarket oil filter.

Volvo recommended for quality oil, value for the money, full synthetic for smooth running engine on my XC90.

Only product I could find that had the Volvo Rating for use on their vehicles on the bottle. Very important to have if you run into warranty issues with some vehicle manufactures.
