Why’d & Macay 1l blended whisky
My favourite scotch I switched over to after the pure malts went beyond my affordability. As good in terms of nose , palate and complexity as some higher priced whiskies I have consumed and the price per litre is what I used to pay for 70cl bottles when things were more affordable. Good taste and colour for drinking meat or with a drop of water, too good to waste in a mixer although it would give good taste in them too I’m sure. Good all round and value for money.

It's not a fantastic taste. It's not the worst taste. It's alcohol.

Good session whisky
Never going to be the best in taste. But I won't mark it down too much on that as I don't think it tries. For that go elsewhere. But as a reasonable tasting, cheap session whisky, it's probably omo the best of the low end mass market whiskies. The seller always delivers on time. Just a shame that living in the town it's produced, I have to order it from England in order to get best price.
