It works
Toyota was looking for $500 to install a remote start on my Wife's new 2019 highlander, there option only allowed remote start by the factory key fob. I did some digging and came across this item and after watching a few videos on YouTube it seemed manageable. I ordered the unit with the MyCar module for cellular access to start the car with the cell phones all for just under $300. Just installed this morning and had it installed and programmed in 3 hours going real slow, all the features work, key fob to start, cell phone etc. Well worth the purchase and hopefully it will hold up. Thus far I highly recommend. Note installation is easy, just read the instructions several times and watch the you tube videos. Also buy the pry tools. Didn't rate tech support as I did not need it yet.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JVP1MRS/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_nCVNFbJ5G1BKC?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1One year on and no issues at.all, extremely happy. Product works perfectly would buy again and renewal price is very reasonable compared to the $8/month car manufacurers ask for $100 for 3 years

Plug and play, done in 20 minutes
Was actually on Youtube looking at something else and a vid came up about a guy installing this in his truck in 5 minutes. I was skeptical but I watched the video and then checked out the reviews. The reviews were good and in terms of how difficult it would be to install, it came down to if you've ever installed a car stereo then you can do this. So i ordered one for my wifes car, a 2018 Toyota Camry SE and on a Sunday morning that looked like rain I started to take her dash apart. Check out Youtube for vids on people doing this and that's all you'll need to install this. Taking the dash apart is the most time consuming part of the process. Once I had opened up the dash and the steering wheel to access the plugs (10 minutes) I had the unit plugged in and gave it a test run. It takes a little patience to get the timing right on it but using the existing car fob remote had my wifes car starting from inside the comfort of my nice warm house. It was so easy to do that I bought one for my Highlander and installed it 2 weeks later. The only downside of this system is the range is limited to the distance at which the fob connects to the car, that is the distance at which you can use the starter. So, in the morning when my car is 10 feet away in the driveway, its fine. At work when im inside the building and 100 yards from my car to the security turnstiles it wont work, too far. For the price though you cant beat it and if youre a little bit handy its an easy install. I really got it for the wife but wound up getting one for myself it was so easy.

Works, easy to install.
Pretty simple installation that took about 45 mins total. Works with factory key which is a big plus, only downside is the car shuts off when you open the door. Not a big issue but something to note. For only 100$ you get remote start and can install yourself- that deserves 5 stars.

Works great - but no trim puller!
I’ve never worked on cars and had no problems with the install on my wife’s car (2019 Highlander XLE). The only nerve wracking part is taking apart the steering wheel and dash (was just afraid I’d pull too hard and snap one of the clips). The MPC install video on YouTube is straightforward and made the process pretty easy for the inexperienced - definitely would recommend spending an hour or so doing this install yourself vs spending $600+ for the dealer to do it (think mine would have charged $800+).My one complaint is that this didn’t come with a trim puller even though there is a picture of one in one of the amazon images. Seems like false advertising in my opinion (unless mine was just missing from the box?). That being said, I’m not even sure the trim puller is necessary as I was able to just use a cheap little pry bar to pop off the one piece that needed it. Feels like you could also just do it (carefully) with a flathead screwdriver. Final tip of advice - don’t forget the big 10mm screw holding on the dash. The video goes through that pretty quick and I almost missed it. Definitely need that off to get the dash open!

Super easy install. Watch the videos beforehand and have your tools ready. Did the whole install in about 20min. My wife is a very happy camper with a warm car on a cold winter 5am morning! Thank you!
