Little squash with blooms immediately began to grow. I am very hopeful for a good harvest. Looks like these are not vining, but rather bush in habit. Note there’s some assembly and if not careful you will miss the two pins included for assembly.

I was glad to receive these seeds. The price was a little high, but good seeds are worth it. So far, the seeds are planted and growing well. These pumpkins are very special because they have a different type of sugar, a pentose sugar which isn't digested like regular cane sugar and does not cause insulin spikes. Allulose is a sugar replacement which is sold, which is made from this pumpkin, and is helpful when sugar is a problem for someone's diet. We use these pumpkins for a sweet side like a replacement for sweet potatoes. We have made desserts with them, like pumpkin pie, and used chopped pecans as a topping. They are also good for soup recipes. I am glad we didn't have to go to Japan to get them!
