Theoretically it could work, but you would probably need to insert the stix between the cast and your skin for it to be most effective. That will help it attack the smell and moisture at the source.

how often do you need to replace the inserts?

Hi there, we recommend you replace the inserts approx every 3 months but everyone is different. Because their main job is to soak up moisture, it depends how much moisture is present each time and how often the gear is used. Our average customer is 3-4 months but we do have some on a 2 month cycle and some that change them every 6 months or even longer. I hope that helps give you a better idea :)

Do they work in ski gloves?

Work in my gloves and boots. Mostly use them in my snowboard boots
