Ahi USA 300 Series Blue Mono Net 1/2" Mesh

I have bought this net in both the 8 and 10 foot model. It is about what I would expect for a cheaper net. It certainly is not the same quality as Betts Super Pro. But it is also $50 cheaper than the Betts. The net opens well. It also sinks semi-fast due to the 1lb of lead per foot and 1/2" netting. Within 3 weeks of use the lead line started coming loose from the netting. The twine used to attach the two together is not heavy enough. This is pretty common problem among cheaper nets. I will probably take a couple of hours and attach the leadline with stronger twine to keep any more of the leadline coming loose.If you are the type fisherman that keeps a throw net for several years you may be better off spending the extra $ for the Betts Super Pro. If you are the fisherman that typically doesn't get more than a year out of a net or you throw around oysters or rocks this net will most likely be just fine for you.

I've owned a lot of cast nets over the years which range in price from the cheapest cloth ones to the expensive mono ones. After using this one extensively I can honestly say that this net is by far the best bang for your buck. I mostly throw this along channel edges in anywhere from 2-6 ft of water and the weight and mesh size is perfect for catching small mullet, pinfish and larger shrimp. I've accidentally thrown this net on shell before and it hasn't torn yet and the braille lines are still in tact. I haven't noticed this net to be any easier to throw than others but it's also not hard to throw if you have good technique.If you're looking for a quality, durable net for a range of applications that won't break the bank, this is the net for you.

Mine wasn't blue, its white, not sure why... It don't appear to be the right net, but it throws well and does the job..

Good cast net great price, I've enjoyed casting it and have caught alot shrimp and bait fish.

The weight of the net feels light, less than a pound per foot. Got stuck on a few submerged branches and immediately tore. Seems weak to me.

Great product. This is a great big water net for salty dogs with a little experience tossing for live bait.

Good net, only downfall "my fault for not checking" the net is not made to catch minnow, they will fall through!

El tamaño está muy bueno pero el material es demasiado frágil la use 4 veces y se comenzó a romper.
