Its so retro cool that it hurts.
I saw this watch come up in my Amazon feed one night while I was browsing for Christmas gifts, and it gave me a flash back to when I was 9 years old, summer camp, ants on a log and being picked up by my mom at 3:30pm. Talk about nostalgia. I bought three of them, two for gifts to my geeky friends and one for me. Now I feel… sanguine. Anyway. The watch is well made, I mean it’s all mostly plastic but it’s perfectly shaped and radiates mathematical usefulness (like calculating the tip if you’re mathematically challenged) or if you feel the need to forgo your brain, cell phone, computer or calculator to work out equations on a tiny little keyboard on an amazingly small lcd screen. I had to squint my eyes in twenty different ways in order to be able to see what it said, and the odd tannish/darkish color of the screen made it hard to read. The little light on it is appropriately dim but it does work, so long as you only count on it to tell the time at night not use it as a flashlight. It fits well and will probably last a lifetime of wear and tear. All of that said it’s a really cool retro watch and if you want to own a classic I’d buy it. The original black color is pretty smart looking in a dorky, revenge of the nerds kind of way. I can’t promise that it’ll get you laid but I guarantee you that other socially awkward geeky people (speaking for myself here) will think it’s great.

Durable and comfortable
Been a few years and the watch is still doing good! Comfortable and durable. Waterproof and everything I need (impossible to actually use as a calculator lol) buttons are too small

Fun watch that is basically still what it was 40 years ago
This watch cannot be rated like one would most products. The main attraction is that it is manufactured at all, and only nostalgia can get you in the right frame of mind to even consider buying one. So let's not talk about how good the water resistance is (I am careful just washing my hands with it... would never take it to the shower), how small the calculator buttons are (they are as I remember them, and maybe even more responsive), or how Casio could have added more features (the waches would not come as cheap if they had). Still, I can't give it five stars because the display is only readable with ease if you are in a very well lit location or room. A more traditional LCD display or a backlight would have been a lot more fun, for a fun watch, rather than straining your eyes, like something similar to indiglo, in a color matching the body of the watch. Remember, Casio, the folks who buy these are likely to be in their late 40s-50s if they are looking for them, so their eyes are not at their best anymore... Anyway, perhaps a few years from now, this hard to read display will be the source of a type of nostalgia of its own...

Garbage
You can barely see the screen. No light to illuminate screen makes it almost unusable. Don't waste your money

The best purchase you can ever make
If you're even thinking about getting it just get it. Tells the time and crunches numbers. Some days I have to take it off because I get too much attention from women wearing it.

Nostalgia
What's more to say? It's a green calculator watch. It's such an odd nostalgic throwback, and for under $30 it's just too good to pass up. Buy this for a total retro cool vibe, with rhe green color adding a slight modern twist.

Functional, beautiful & hard to see!
The watch is cute. It was smaller than I expected, & the buttons are small, but easy enough to push! I do wish there was a backlight, or that the display was naturally brighter! It’s difficult to see inside & in direct sunlight. The best viewing conditions are actually inside offices & stores with florescent lighting! Funny. If you want a more visible option look for the watch in black with the black LCD display on a white background.

Don’t buy this. As the title says if you need a watch that you can actually see the display on then this is not it. Indoors or slightly darker setting sand you can’t even see it. Pointless.
